One of the CourtTV guest commentators mentioned Friday that if Daybell deems himself a true “prophet” that he would remain stoic and not beg for his life, as that would be beneath a prophet. Someone else may remember more clearly than I do what was commented, but this is fairly close. I doubt he really considers himself a prophet. I believe that he was a shy, small town kid who garnered attention the likes of which he had never experienced when he began voicing his odd beliefs. He became a local star among his group. This soon led him to realize he could make a bit of money by publishing books. After all, at the time he was making a living as a grave digger. But when he met Lori Vallow, it was downhill from there.

“Judge Steven Boyce on Saturday formally imposed the death sentence after a jury, in a lengthy verdict form read in court earlier, said it found that penalty was appropriate under the law. The judge also imposed a 15-year prison sentence for insurance fraud charges.”

The above language was taken from an on-line CNN article. The judge has imposed sentencing on Daybell.

Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry. Will correct now. Thank you.

Daybell Guilty

Chad Daybell found guilty of all charges. Rest easy Tylee, JJ and Tammy. You were not forgotten. Thank you to the jury for your service, and for the next decision you must make.

Oh, it can be asked, but ……

Your title says it all. So much reasonable doubt throughout. On one hand, I believe she was overcharged. If she, in fact, was the cause of John’s death, it was not intentional. On the other hand, the information that witness phones were traded in or thrown away is certainly odd and suspicious (not sure this evidence has been brought in yet). I believe that most witnesses have been credible, except for sleeping through the disturbance on their front lawn seems suspect. I most definitely believe there are jurors who likely slipped through voir dire who are either very much pro-defendant or pro-prosecution which will result in a hung jury. My heart goes out to the O’Keefe family regardless of the outcome. The tragedy cannot be overlooked by all the finger pointing.

This very good boy looks like he is trying to solve the world’s problems in the third picture.

Bet he used to push paintings, too.

You must be quite a literal person. I enjoy humor and sarcasm even in the darkest moments. Sorry that my comment set you off. But I do love dogs. You can’t move me off of that point.

Kind of goes without saying, but yeah, my friend.

Chad Daybell

Well, just made my decision about Chad. He is definitely evil now that his daughter, Emma, just revealed that he does not like dogs. I have never trusted a person who had a dislike for dogs. How is it possible?

No, but that’s Larry Bird behind her.

Thought it was Paul — the former band guy. Oh wait. Was he on Letterman? Never mind.

What a beauty he is. I am so sorry for your loss. What a treasure.
