Would you have her pick some numbers for the lotto for me?

Wow, a femur. Did it feel better when they cranked the traction splint?

And the only fish I'm aware of that could be described as "living in a puddle" is the humble killifish.

There's a 42" ROG monitor that's 4k 138hz. I remember seeing some testing somewhere that found that that was about as fast a refresh rate as the human nervous system can get a benefit from. It's on my list for my next iteration of my PC.

I turn to spite. Mama ain't raise no wuss, so I'm not gonna let something as lame as neurochemistry take me out.

I came across this post looking for a GPS tracker for my gun case, you made a few more sales, I'm putting one in all my gun cases and my work backpack too, because it sits in an ambulance all day.

30M, cishet, straight, kinda hoping for a date. I love Grandstaff and Stein, and recently tried Burger Bach for the first time, loved that. In the hopes of not getting immediately doxxed/recognized, I am underpaid in healthcare and will share more about that one on one.

I'm not really sure how to promote myself, so here's some stuff about me.

I'm polyamorous, partnered, and dating separately, with two lovely long term partners.

I'm tall, the slim side of athletic, my skin really only produces melanin in the form of freckles, and I do my best to be genuine. I value good communication skills, and I gauge success partly by how safe and comfy people feel in my presence.

I probably fit a lot of the qualities of the classic "golden retriever gamer boi".

I'm a bit of a nerd, so if you get me talking about something I am passionate about, I will talk your ear off. Fair warning.

A few things I enjoy are: video games, CAD and 3D printing, and old cars and trucks.

I strive to be as reasonable a person as I can reasonably be and always search for compromise and effective communication. My friends joke that I'm probably autistic, but it could also be overlapping symptoms with ADHD and PTSD.

I'd love to find someone to hang out with and to broaden my horizons, I'm flexible about how my relationships look, and my top two love languages are touch and acts of service.

DM me if anything here looks intriguing to you!

Sometimes cops release images of a suspect because they know the suspect will see them and panic, it can sometimes flush them out. Plus the jacket in and of itself is fairly distinctive. Someone might recognize it.

Saves a ton on waxing and hair cuts.

Yeah, the gyros are huuge and pretty tasty. And messy, like a gyros should be. But my heart will always belong to Souvlaki in Blacksburg, VA. Smaller size, but better meat and better meat ratio.

I'm a fan of Fu Jian on Main, they have a 2-entree-for-$20 that is that classic Chinese-American style. Like it's not authentic Chinese cuisine, but it's also not some trendy fusion joint. I really like their Mala Pork and the hot and sour soup, but the soup isn't the best I've had, but it's perfectly serviceable for when I'm craving it.

Can second both of those. Grace Noodle isn't as fancy as some of the other places in terms of toppings, but they absolutely nail the essentials.

I dunno, but if someone out there has some experience with industrial design, I'd love to see what an ambulance built by Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, or heck, even Toyota would look like. Rolls has some serious engineering chops in their aerospace division, which I think would make for a pretty good (if expensive af) unit to work on.

And the dinner for 2 for like $20 is awesome. I live a short walk from there, and it's my go-to.

Right to sue/waste money on a lawyer and frivolous lawsuit and entitled to damages are two ENTIRELY different things. Generally you only get the latter if you are going about your day in such a manner that you shouldn't expect to come to harm and you do because of someone else's negligence, but do anyways. If you're fucking around where there are signs saying not to fuck around in a specific place and physical barriers to keep people from fucking around in that place, it's generally considered that the party generally responsible for the place aren't liable for people intentionally fucking around have taken REASONABLE MEASURES to prevent people who aren't fucking around from being in a dangerous area, you're the one who is liable for your injuries. If you're under the impression that someone can do something that is considered taking their life into their own hands and still win damages, you're grossly misinformed.

Can confirm that being intoxicated will help you walk away from stuff a sober person would sustain injuries from. The long and short of it is that your reflexes are so slowed you don't even have a chance to tense up until all the kinetics have already happened to your body. Ditto unconscious people.

Questions for the hive mind

So there's this like 91 or 91 NSX near where I live that's been sitting since at least 2010, and I'm like 99% sure it doesn't run. I've recently come into about 20k that I can devote to getting the car and getting it on the road. Before money changes hands, it's definitely going to a mechanic that I know is good with 90's Japanese cars, but I still wanted to get an opinion more informed than my own.

So first question: what do y'all think is a reasonable offer for a 40k miles 91 or 92 base model manual that hasn't moved in 10+ years? I'm assuming it doesn't run or drive.

What are some things I can look for as someone who has enough knowledge about cars to do an engine and trans rebuild on a 77 F150, but not a ton of knowledge about this era of Honda? Are there any issues other than the usual ones that come from letting an NSX sit? Anything I can mention like "Oh, well $25k is too much, I am probably going to need to spend $5k doing XYZ, so highest I can go is 15" sorta thing? Like I know seals, bushings, o-rings, and the like are gonna be pretty much shot, but is there anything I should be looking for that might mean I need to keep more of this money in reserve for repairs?

Thanks in advance, I'll keep y'all updated if you like!

"You can go with me now, or we'll go 'round the corner until (family/friend/bystander) calls 911 again because you're unconscious, at which point you can't refuse, but that second option probably involves me breaking your ribs to do CPR on you." Or: "Look, I don't want to take people who aren't REALLY sick to the hospital because people who aren't sick don't get a bed immediately. You're REALLY sick, and I want to take you, and they'll probably send you right to a bed." Or: graphic description of what's gonna happen in their body if they don't go OR: " Ma'am, your husband doesn't want to go with us, please come talk some sense into him so we can get to the hospital sooner rather than later?"
