CLAIM: A new autopsy report for George Floyd has been released in 2023, revealing he died from a drug overdose, not from the actions of arresting Minneapolis police officers.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. Social media users are sharing a page from the 20-page autopsy report that was publicly released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office in full on June 3, 2020. It has not been changed since. While the page says he had fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system, and did not have “life-threatening injuries,” the full report concludes Floyd died from “cardiopulmonary arrest,” not an overdose.

I live outside Washtington D.C. and it was 94 degrees and 90% humidity. Luckily, it’s fallen into the high 80s since then, which is normal.

I don’t see why it would hit different in the UK. If this guy is anywhere on the East Coast or in the south, humidity is routinely 90% in the summer.

Psilocybin mushrooms, a great therapist, journaling, and sleep. Plus, I got my thyroid checked and it was WAY out of wack. That medication helped a lot.

This is wildly dangerous and irresponsible.

The online trolls no longer capitalize the word “Democrat”, in online comments and it appears that mainstream Republicans are now following suit.

You gave Virginia two things and Maryland nothing.

They never told you when to run…you missed the starting gun.

The Shortest Story by Harry Chapin. Although it’s not so much sad as it is dismal.

We’re liking your answer on our end.

You’re the most hopeful comment I can mine from this post, so I’m going to go with your perspective.

Layover - JFK to Kennedy…can we make it?Question

Edit: We made the flight. We took a gamble, and Aer Lingus ended up landing 25 minutes early, and we had a super-aggressive Uber driver. Side note, LaGuardia TSA can piss right the hell off.

We are flying Aer Lingus from Shannon, Ireland to JFK. We have two hours and forty minutes from JFK to LaGuardia. On our way over, we had five hours, so it was no problem. We took an Uber and it was $80 and took an hour, in non-rush hour traffic. On our way back, we have two hours and forty minutes to deplane, get our luggage, get an Uber, get to LaGuardia in rush hour traffic, get through security, check in, and get to the plane. It is a TIGHT timeline. My mom got the tickets through Flight Hub and we can’t talk to a real person, and are using chat, with little success. We want to change our flight to the next flight two hours later, but we naively don’t want to pay two hundred bucks per person to make the change. Are we dreaming? Our fallback plan is to rent a car at one of the airports and just driving to Reagan National in D.C. We’ve gone through all the scenarios in our little group and we need some outside perspective. Can we make that timeline? Are we dreaming about changing our flight for free?

Tilting your seat back on a plane. “If it wasn’t meant to be tilted back, they wouldn’t make them that way.” Fuck you. I’m 6’3”, so your added extra comfort directly reduces my basic comfort. It’s a zero-sum game when it comes to tilting back your seat on a plane.

How many Irish mothers does it take to change a lightbulb?

None. I’ll just sit here in the dark while no one visits or calls me.

Edit: Also works for Jewish or Italian mothers.

You're absolutely right. I don't know who these scumbags who get cancer think they are that they can choose to get a terminal disease and then just waltz through life afterwards. Don't want bad credit? Then don't get cancer. Simple.

I'm going to be downvoted for this, but a lot of of the self-reported indigenous background is based on high-cheekbones, family lore, or other arbitrary factors rather than actual facts. So my guess is that there are far less actual indigenous people than are reported.
