Same for sure. Right now they are KILLING it in the TCG realm, which is great for them from a business and financial standpoint.
I don’t really like the word harsh. I’d prefer to use the word accurate. But I see your point for sure. I choose TAG over SGC because with SGC you still don’t know why you got the grade you receive. And personally a 9.5 just grinds my gears. It’s either a 9 or a 10. 9.5 to me is just unnecessary. And while I can see why you would think SGC and TAG slabs look similar — they could not look any more different when next to one another. SGC is kinda bulky and they have the black foam and paper label. TAG is a fully crystal clear acrylic slab with the card and grade information laser etched into the slab and they are fully clear. The picture is just taken on a black background.
Take a look at TAGs website for prices and different services. I paid $30 for each card with a 10 day turn around time. But they also offer a $15 per card service for 5-10 day turnaround time as well for their TAG X service. Check it out 100%!
Love the slabs. I’ve submitted to PSA and still do here and there but I have put my PC in TAG slabs. If anyone wants to tell me “how to hobby” they are the problem within said hobby

Good call. When I started googling I noticed it was more so a private neighborhood than a tourist location so I’m trying to explain that to the wife right now haha. But good lookin out too on the TS…. We will have to monitor for sure

Visiting Texas next weekend in the Corpus area and my wife was mentioning she wanted to go visit cinnamon shores / Port Aransas beach? It looks pretty nice with the beach and some nice spots to eat and all that fun stuff. I would like to get some input or advice from some locals if would be worth our time to check out!
