If you just touch the Start/Add Laundry button it will bring the display back on without interfering with the cycle.
Rick Bell is such a shill. He’s worse than Corbella and that’s saying a lot.
I bike this route to work regularly (male). There are some camps beside the river between nose creek and the zoo but I rarely see the people staying there. Honestly the parts on the road before I get to the bike path are the worst. Infinitely more likely to be hit by an F-150 than anything else.
I would add to this, we have built a road network here that we can never afford to maintain or replace at end of life. We have more roadway per person than almost every city in Canada. It’s incredibly inefficient and expensive to maintain, and yet we keep building more even though we can’t afford to fix the ones we have.
Maybe if they spent less time harassing people who have no home, making them move from public space to another public space, there would be time for traffic enforcement.
Send it to CTV news instead, and tell them CPS won’t do anything about it. Maybe the police will be interested one there is some public pressure.
*That should say regulatory problem, Reddit won’t let me edit the post.
Yeah agreed. Seems like a failure of leadership by the government and public service. I was struck by the fact that Canada has never successfully blocked a merger or takeover.
She should definitely try a few out, but I would throw the Brooks Flyer Short or B67 Short as options. A bit spendy but worth a look if you can invest. My spouse had the same issue when we got her bikepacking rig set up, the stock saddle was a bit narrow. The ride stance on her bike is relatively upright. She found a Flyer secondhand from someone in the neighbourhood and loves it. Even transferred it to her commuter for the winter because it was so much more comfortable. Leather saddles aren't for everyone, you need to maintain them and protect them from the rain, but it's all I ride anymore.
Saw limes for 50 cents at Unimarket this morning.
I find shopping at Safeway/Sobeys is only worth it on the first Tuesday of the month, they do 15% off. Even then, if we go, I only buy things that are on sale.
Birdies seeded sourdough might be the thing I miss most about living in Halifax.
This is a truly miserable subreddit
I think it’s worth reporting the really egregious ones, but also be realistic that nothing will be done unless you have video. Even if you do I don’t have much faith in CPS to care. Everything is data driven these days. When the city plans protected bike infrastructure or better pedestrian routes they look at police and 311 complaints as part of that. If there are a ton of data points indicating an issue, that gets noted. It’s the same with anything, lack of citizen engagement means the City can brush off an issue by saying that they’ve had no complaints. I’m not saying that reporting will get this or that changed but it does make a difference.
Ive been riding to work for many years and am also thinking of getting a camera for my bike and my car. Motorists seem to be getting worse and acting more aggressively.
I find Safeway and Sobeys liquor to be some of the most expensive in the city, with the worst selection.
Why even bother building an option that would not protect Cochrane as well? Seems pretty backward to me. Replacing the Ghost seems the most straightforward to me, and they could upgrade the hydro facility at the same time.
Thanks. I did clean the ones I could see in the drum as best I could so hopefully that solves that issue.
That is a ridiculous amount of uneven wear for a 6 month interval. Visually the wear looks to me like your camber is way off. I have an '06 and don't know what the spec is supposed to be for your model year, it would be worth checking. I'd definitely be asking the question about whether they should have noticed uneven wear previously.
Has anything changed about your driving habits since the last tire rotation? There are lots of things that can affect tire wear but it's unusual for it to affect all 4 tires like that. Worn suspension or steering components can cause uneven wear but your car seems a bit too new, and it would be weird for all 4 to fail together. If you started towing or carry really heavy loads that might do it, but I don't know about the specific pattern.
You could ask the folks over at subaruoutback.org. I've problem solved lots of issues with my outback with help from the community there. Worth taking it to a good alignment shop too if your dealer isn't helpful (they often aren't).
My 72 y.o. mom would beg to differ
I don't think you can do the update yourself without the app. For what it's worth we have the base models and the Miele repair guy (Canada) I spoke to last week said there are rarely updates for those.
I also had trouble getting ours to connect but managed eventually mostly through persistence. One thing that happened was the countdown never appeared on the washer screen, but I confirmed on the app anyway and it let me connect.
Same. Being able to bike or take the train is key, I have zero interest in driving to Spruce Meadows. Psyched about this.
