Team USA has said something along the lines of ”if youre in the Bahamas when you could be playing for team USA, that shows what character you have”. This resulted in lots of NHL players joining their team, and other big names have joined their teams. But no leafs, not even Willy or Auston on their shiny new long term deals. This is gonna be the best Worlds in many years, would love to see some Leafs come over.
