It’s not, but it’s also pretty standard for the stars coming out of college to get hyped up quite a bit by the media. Sometimes they make that transition and thrive, and sometimes they turn out to be mediocre at best. And with her being the leading scorer in history and almost carrying Iowa to a championship the last 2 years she deserves the hype.

She probably made more in college than most of them will ever earn professionally.

I really don’t understand the racism thing. Most of the stars in the NBA are black and isn’t hasn’t seemed to slow down their popularity any. Sports is one of the few places that even the hardcore racists will like you as long as you’re playing at a high level for their favorite team.

It’s jealousy. They feel like they’ve been ignored for years while they’ve been doing what they see as great things. And now Clark comes along without doing anything in the WNBA and fans are going crazy for her. So they’ve made the decision to attack her. Which is just going to drive the new fans and money away. It really shows why no one has cared about them in the past.

Most professional sports subs are pretty toxic. The college subs tend to be better, but even they have their things that they tend to go off on.

I’m guessing it has multiple layers of a UV protective coating.

How much does the Winnie the Pooh pay you to shill for his country?

Wood is the best option for an immediate temporary repair. When a utility find or is notified that one is broken they'll put up a wood pole right next to the broken one and connect them together. It's just a quick and dirty fix to buy them some time to properly fix it without having to remove of shut down any of the wires or devices using that pole.

ULA can only do what Boeing and Lockheed let them do. And it sure feels like they've been pretty restrictive on them. For a lot of their life they were the only launch provider in town and so Boeing and Lockheed were happy to just keep making the same rockets and cashing fat checks.

We’d be flying in Boeing capsules powered by ULA rockets. Without SpaceX it would be on a cost plus contract that Boeing would have milked for billions of extra dollars along the way though.

They just need to go to each team getting 2 bye weeks.

I’m sure they threw a bag at him. Hard to turn down for a guy that knows he’ll probably never make an NFL roster.

A lot of people switched from Firefox when it had memory leak issues and then never came back when they got it under control. Even though Chrome is now worse than Firefox ever was.

Listening to Tim Dodd's podcast from the other week it sounds like the whole launch process is a mess. Like with the last launch they would normally just recycle the valve and go on with launch. But now with humans on board they aren't allowed to touch the rocket at all. So all the little things that would normally be fixed with a quick reset are now causes for a scrub.

Nope, they got hit with a patent suit several years ago and had to stop selling it. The patent expired last year so they could come out with a new one. But garages door openers are a hard market to crack so they may not bother.

It was filmed last season. It was 4 or 5 really big name guys, nobody on the Chiefs.

They're doing wide recievers for the 2nd season.

Blade steels are usually in the high 50's to low 60's. You don't really want to go much higher than that because brittleness becomes a problem.
