I initially applied because of ASU and the benefits of a free college education. I had stuff happen at my previous school and failed a whole year of classes and eventually dropped out. I applied to ASU and got in just in time for session B of the semester. Knowing the SCAP program, I applied to starbucks and got hired. Besides the benefit, I really needed a job cause I never had a real one and needed money, but starbucks overall seemed like a cool place to work. Thankfully, I still live at my parents house and dont have much to pay for myself yet, so it turned into my fun job! I am so thankful for my job and my work family, they truly saved me from such a terrible time in my life and Im honestly in the best state Ive been in mentally my whole life. Ive changed into a semi confident person that can talk to people and it makes me so happy to see the person ive become. I’ve worked my way through and just got promoted to shift supervisor and had my first solo shift a few days ago and am feeling so good! :)

One of our regulars in morning recently did this. We always thought he was an odd guy and has been just getting more weird since I started working there, its been a year now and this happened two weeks ago and this just takes the cake. I gave him his drink, he looked at me dead in the eyes and said “I hope you have a beautiful day just like you” and blew me a fucking kiss. My jaw just dropped and I did not respond. Once he left, i turned to my coworker and he had the same face as me. I was like “did he just..” and my coworker just responded “yea he did..”. Keith you’re a weird guys and this is why I avoid you now.

Happier than ever. Went through a lot of shit including my best friend mentally abusing me after starting to go to college together for 2 years. This song came out right after i decided to cut them out, it honestly saved me quite a bit especially with the lyrics being almost identical to what i was going through. Im going to get it tattooed on me soon
