I picked up a rav today and called the dealer within an hour to swap to a Venza nightshade. I didn't drive it, just sat in it. Is the interior that much softer or was it just in my head?

I thought the same till you see what's really included. This is my mini toy hauler lol, I can tow my samurai or a boat and still have a huge sleeping area. It's way more practical than a trailer for my needs but yes I see some see it as not practical
