No wonder he did what he did: Virgin blood granted him a youthful body throughout his career

When did the Lando hate start here? He hasn't really done egregious shit, or is crash-prone (Russell), or is a shitty teammate (Ocon), or is someone who's only in F1 because of money (Stroll), or is Black (a big reason I think why Hamilton gets too much hate in this sub)

Both are cringe, but the other one acts like they're better than the other - and funny enough, when their own driver does the same shit, he gets praised for it lmao

I dunno, I've been starting to see some Vettel haters here recently, particularly during his organized Senna event at Imola, with people saying he's such an attention-seeker

Pistons can't score for shit, and the Warriors weren't no slouch on defense either, so Pistons won't outscore them either in 2017 or 2004. Warriors sweep.

I remember Oscar Robertson saying he'd stop Curry by full-court pressing him lmao

Had the Mavs missed a couple of baskets (given that the games were close aside from Game 5), you'd be praising Minnesota's defensive gameplan. There's a reason why the games were close despite KAT and Ant have shit shooting games.

People really just shape narratives based on who won and lost lol

In two weeks, no one but yourself is gonna think about what you've said, no matter who wins. You're overestimating your importance lmao

From the faded marker-like text on the right of the circle, I think that's a Pete Maravich-branded Spalding ball from the 70s. For nostalgia purposes, I think $5 is a good price for it. Hell, I'd buy it if I see it lol

Only thing this says is that the team is pretty good. There are no guarantees in the playoffs

Lebron spends a million dollars per year for his body, and lo and behold, he's putting up unprecedented numbers for a 39-year-old and is still arguably a top 10 player in the NBA

2023 Miami: Butler

2022 Celtics: Tatum

2021 Suns: CP3

2020 Miami: Butler

2019 Warriors: Curry

Most arguable is Butler, and I'd say he's had a better career than Mitch Richmond, who's in the HOF

Fun fact about that Baylor season: Dude was serving for the Army at that time and could only really play during weekends and couldn't practice with the team most of the time.

Imagine having the NBA as like a side hustle and having the highest non-Wilt scoring average

I think it's because taller players look like Bambi on ice vs quicker players, and that clumsy look makes the defender seem worse

Prolly. Gafford looks pretty good right now on the offensive side cause he's got a great lob passer in Luka, and on the defensive side, he's not on the level of Gobert

For real. I've never seen as many players who gave a shit about the EULA and how selecting a different country violates it as during the Helldivers 2 thing lol

For real. Dude missed a wide-open dunk, walked back to the rim, and there still was no defender in sight

People just want to get butthurt, period.

He's 0-10 in the last 10 games (including playoffs), but he has won a bunch since leaving Boston. If you wanna have credibility, at least stop regurgitating misleading stats.

What's your point? The comment you're replying to was saying Ant prolly didn't want to cry in public - and he was still in public while signing those shoes.

Yeah, they didn't really shoot well against probably the worst defense of the playoff teams, 35% from 3, equivalent to a 52% 2pt shooter, so it's possible if Luka can get Lively and Gafford going against a worse post D than Minny.

And can't say if it happened here, but I've read some stories from past playoffs that players who didn't shake hands on the court did so backstage. So can't really conclude anything yet about Ant's sportsmanship
