I have a Nissan NS8B that is not engaging in reverse. It works fine in forward, but has a rough shift into reverse with no engagement. I’m new to outboards but have rebuilt car engines. What am I looking for?
The glare on your skin is worse than your glasses, but hey I guess we can’t all take showers.
Nah I don’t feel right roasting you, beat your autism then I’ll roast you.
I looked at the Aether 55 and ended up with the Granite Gear Blaze 60. All in all I would chose the Blaze again.
You’re welcome buddy. When are we doing the next one?
Oh yeah, there is absolutely no connection between seeing an animals capability, and deciding to carry protection from said animal. I would just like to thank you for being polite on a platform where kindness is often undervalued.
Hunting them has created a healthy respect of what they can do to me. That’s why I carry, and advise others to do the same. Thank you for your civil request for explanation of my reasoning.
Where I live and where I backpack there are hogs and mountain lions. So I always have a pistol in the chest pouch on my backpack. When I set up camp it goes right by my pillow. Before I get hate for saying that, I have had to hunt predators that have become problematic. I have seen the damage they can do, always carry something that can put one down.
Hah we definitely did not decide to paint my daughters play house with leftover paint
Painting this was so much fun! A few beers and serval “oops, fuck it we ball”s later and I’m in love with it!
It’s a suicide mission you’re going to die anyways, so just embrace it.
Honestly the 1x function is not as impressive as people claim, and the light transmission on lvpos is absolute trash. Go with a 2-12x and you’ll be happier.
I always recommend a pack that has a frame and a good hip belt, for me that’s the granite gear blaze 60. Keep in mind you will be spending the day carrying everything so this is my splurge item in a budget kit. I would only carry one smart water bottle and add a 2 or 3 liter cnock bladder for filtering water, sometimes it makes sense to carry unfiltered water. For not much more you can get a good 20 degree down quilt, starting off a cheap one will be fine you can always layer up to sleep in the cold. The rest of it looks fine. Remember food will weigh a good bit and takes up space, also don’t forget your bear bag/canister.
I use Barnes tsx in 55gr. It has put a few deer down and trust me their will to live is stronger than anyone breaking into my house.
If this is what I had to go through to buy a gun at 19, I would have bought another 3 or 4 for good measure. My parents wouldn’t care, my doctor was my hunting buddy. As a hunter I was well aware of the carnage that could be inflicted but guns, hell we sought out the bullets with the best terminal performance. Anyone who tried to shove a wand up my ass would have quickly learned the error of their ways. 19 year-old me would have embraced it, and taunted and every single protester, that’s the difference between a teenage boy and a teenage girl. The guys I grew up with were bred to be mean and grew up tough. All this would have done is made buying a gun a right of passage and a badge of honor. As it is those of us who have gone through the process to buy NFA items have the coolest gear at the range and everyone wants to try them out.
I have rifles with dots on them, but I prefer LVPOS.
Eh, sometimes it can be. I absolutely abhor the flame thrower, so when the order is 100 kills with a flame thrower I want it done quick. Having 3 others getting kills with the flame thrower makes it quick.
The flip side of that is the personal order is tracked for the whole lobby. Which allows me and my friends to knock out the annoying ones together in one run and get back to not worrying about killing a specific thing.
I might be alone in this, but when I’m happy with a set up I buy a new lower and start over.
It depends on use but I ended up with a mpvo (2-12x) but when I step out of my back door I have ranges up to 600 yards. But if I had to pick between the two I would go with a lpvo.
Lol bro they are both mine. I have multiple of each, but these days when I throw one in the truck and go, it’s the ar10.
Ok it seems to be moving all the way down, but there is a obvious “clunk” feeling midway through the reverse shift when the engine isn’t running.
Help, Nissan NS8B not engaging in reverse
