I’m not sure how many I’ve done, but it’s been A LOT and I’ve yet to pull a non-glowing turkey mask. I did get one cheap from a vendor. I’m surprised I haven’t seen one yet. I’ve also gotten every plan multiple times and the butter one only once (which is totally fine because I just collect things for myself), but I keep seeing people who have pulled several lol.

I put a bunch of picket signs in there and it just made people mad. Honestly I was just hoping others would join me in the fight against automation. My dad needs a job 🥲

My dad was born in the 60’s and is in his 50’s. He still works. He’s a lawyer. I’m not sure it’s that common to retire that early these days. It’s possible for sure, but a person in their 50’s isn’t that ancient and I think most people retire in their 60’s/70’s (tbh most of us in the younger gens will be lucky to retire at all in the future lol).

I use my shelter as a secondary workshop for this. Then I can just run away to my hidey hole and anyone else can loiter or hang out to use my camp.

Honestly, I’ve been participating, but often feel like I might as well be afk’ing with the amount of people showing up and going directly to spawns with cremators. I just end up standing around and walking slowly with the robo buddies. So I just don’t see a problem with anyone afk’ing when there’s more than enough players.

Soo far I think I’ve done it around 15 times? I’ve gotten Glowing SBQ, multiple Sun masks, Pig, Deathclaw, Jester, multiple Toothy, Soldier, and Winter Man.

That’s the one I got before servers went down. I’m sure you will get it soon! There’s still plenty of time. I want a glowing scorchbeast, but I probably won’t get one 😅

Ahh! I knew there was maintenance, but I thought it was just PC and Xbox. My game crashed and I thought there was something wrong on my end with my connection 😅

It’s still fun! This is why I like Monster High. The characters feel relatable and everyone who likes MH can see themselves in the ghouls ☺️. G1 Ghoulia is definitely one I relate the most along with Twyla and Frankie!

Ghoulia is a 2000’s scene kid all the way! She’s listening to the lineup for the first year of When We Were Young, not Sick New World. I’m certain she shops at Hot Topic, but she’s getting a pair of Tripp skinny jeans 🤙

I’m really sleepy and I initially read this in passing as, “Calling all hot goblins!” 🔥🥵🫠

It’s fun if you’ve never been and I’d definitely go because of that, but South Broadway just doesn’t feel the same to me as at it once did. So for me, it’s not as fun as it used to be and I don’t go anymore. Personally though I’ve had the best times going later in the day and sparing most of my energy for after dark instead of dying in the heat 🤙

So is that once a week Buzzfeed article ✨

Lol I guess I’m not the only one who struggles with OPI! I like the polishes, but every time I use the brand I struggle with their polishes being gloopy and streaky. Thinner can help, but it’s not my favorite formula to work with :/

Also, I absolutely love Mooncat. I love the formula and actually I am someone that prefers a thicker formula. I’m going to mention them though because some polishes like Mermaid Bait get the teensiest bubbles when drying. It could also be a top coat issue or timing problem between applying layers? I’m not sure, but maybe someone else has a way to avoid this.

It’s even the non limited edition ones now including the recent holiday and space collections! I’d definitely say it’s the direction that they seem to be going in for the majority of releases and having watched a couple of the lives myself for swatches ☺️

Also yes, the cremes collection was still meant to lean heavily towards the cremes, but it was a smaller collection that also featured a unique topper for the brand and a new white shimmer. So it wasn’t completely cremes and it was built around mixing with the extra shades.

I just want to add because maybe not everyone knows, but aside from the last Holo Taco collection the majority of their collections the past couple of years have featured a variety of finishes.

Not all of them, but it seems that’s how they’re going to continue for the most part. This last one though was more in line with their tradition of releasing a yearly rainbow specific collection for people who are fans of that 🤙

Just an fyi, this is gunmetal, which is a darker cool toned silver gray; not black. If anyone wants a black lip gloss that is similar to this with silver glitter that packs more of a punch then I would recommend Half Magic’s Magic Drip Lip Gloss!

This is really pretty too, but it’s a semi dark silver gloss. The one from Half Magic really is black though and the black tone shows really well for a black gloss when applied. I’d also recommend the black lip oils from Blend Bunny and Colourpop (Twilight collection).

I started the new season of Love Island and was absolutely losing it over how old all of the women are. Irl I would have pegged almost all of them as being mid 40’s. It made me really sad that 24 year olds feel like they need so much filler 😩

I just watched this and I have met people who have worked for these types of things including family. I definitely believe it. I think they (obviously) added some scripted moments to cap the ends of the episodes for dramatic effect (like the dragon man), but everything else seemed legit.

They just did a really great job at editing and being observant with the people they were filming. All of the close ups of that guy chugging Red Bulls were so good 😅

Gale is just a smart wizard nerd boy, but somehow he’s also a very charming character. I personally changed my Gale’s hair and outfits…which really changed how I perceived Gale lol and he might as well be in Dream Daddy now.

Oh man…and here all I could think of was “pumpkin spice lattes”. I was fully expecting PSL to mean “so hot, but also sweet and spicy…like a warm pumpkin spice cinnamon roll boy on a brisk fall afternoon 🍂”

It was cute albeit very vanilla, but he didn’t last very long for someone who was having brothel threesomes in the first 5 episodes. My only other criticism is the emphasis on Benedict having his never ending threesome at the end that was weirdly edited. The focus should have been on Polin.

Truthfully though and I hate to say the quiet part out loud, but I felt like the show was afraid to really show Nicola. I felt like having a different body type made the show more conservative with her editing and with what they showed in the final cut. They also covered her up awkwardly in the virginity scene. It was an unnatural awkwardness and she didn’t seem that comfortable…and yes, your first time is going to be awkward. This was different.

Also, as a side note…seeing some comments makes me sad. Y’all need to find yourselves some better men because as women you’re worth more than mediocre…

Yeah and honestly the Bridgerton books are not the kind of books I would personally read. I learned my lesson with True Blood trying to read the books after I got really into the show. Often I do like the source material better, but some genres just aren’t my thing (in this case romance novels with a certain type of appeal and let me clarify this is absolutely nothing against those who enjoy the books. I just have different interests!) and with modern tv & film; I actually think some stuff is better after having been adapted.

I really do like the time period that Bridgerton is based in and I adore classic Jane Austen novels along with similar regency/edwardian stories. However, what truly drew me into Bridgerton was the modernity of it all. I fell in love with the show for the diversity first and foremost, but also the costumes, Queen Charlotte’s wigs, the music, and the characters. They took the source material and made it something unique for the genre.

It’s especially gorgeous IMO to see people represented in the cast that historically wouldn’t be. One of my favorite painters is Kehinde Wiley who is well known for painting black men and women in opulent historical situations that wouldn’t have been possible due to racism. Bridgerton does the same thing and they’ve made it so beautiful, while also addressing a lot of contemporary issues that aren’t always typical of these types of stories in a historical context.

Bridgerton is a fantasy and really shows an alternate reality. It turns the genre upside down and it has done something completely unique with the source material. I honestly can’t wait to see what’s next. The books will always exist for the fans, but if those who disagree can; please try to separate the show from the books…in fact just forget about the books and view the show as inspired by the books. What they’ve done is actually pretty amazing and I love the show because I really haven’t seen anything quite like it (although Sophia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette is a good precursor to the style of Bridgerton as a tv show).

(Also, I just want to add that my one criticism of this season was how excessively long Ben’s threesome was and how it was edited lmao. I’m not prude by any means, but that was really goofy 😆)
