That pic is from 1 of only 2 video recordings of Jimi playing acoustic. It's Hear My Train A'comin.

Amazing version.

Jimi Hendrix acoustic version of hear my train a comin. The train is a metaphor for salvation.

AW sells hop up kits. Dash sells better magnets and armatures; but you'll need a gear puller and press to do replacements. Dash also sells brushes. Wizzard / Dynamic armatures make better brushes as well.

Harden Creek sells pickup shoes that are better than AW.

AW have what are called "pancake" armatures; Mega-g+ have can or "inline" motors so incompatible to switch.

Just before this segment Dick Cavett mentions something about Jimi Hendrix supposed to have been there as well, but had gone on early the morning before. Cavett asks about Hendrix and Stephen Stills says "he's ok man, he's ok".

Would have really been cool to see JH there as well.

Some great lines from that show

As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.

Interesting but overpriced IMO. You can get a trackmate setup for 4lanes for less. It controls your power supply (on/off) and a track call button. Plus it comes w a free race control software program that will manage your races for you.

Lose the guardrails for real racing action ;)

I never did. Plus my HD Homerun Prime no longer picks up ESPN3 so it took away the option of even trying. I went to F1 TV last year when spectrum temporarily dropped ESPN.

Yes the AFX chassis is great for drifting. It has more power than a t-jet, but not the downforce of the magna-traction. The new gen magnets from Dash or the OS3 grey dragon magnets are a great upgrade for the stock armature.

That #1 Audi is too valuable to race! But I love this body style. The Jag long-wheel base chassis is a great upgrade for these bodies as well.

Don't clip the spring coil, bend the top of the p/u shoe over to restrict the travel. This will actually allow you to put in a little more spring tension (stretch the spring SLIGHTLY) which will increase HP.

I got the 18mm and they seem too short for my S1 Plus. Do I need to crank them down more or get taller ones? TIA
