I’m trying to buy as much V at these prices as I can
Buying $1000 in VGT every month for 5 years will yield you a ton more $ than that strategy. At the end you can sell it all and buy way more O than you would have otherwise accumulated.
It does work and many people do it. Problem is the payouts are erratic and for the most part the NAV is decreasing over time. The dividends aren’t qualified either and these funds don’t have the longest track record.
Truck had a clean carfax, I guess you’re trying to say the truck has had paintwork done before?
It’s been about a year since I purchased the truck. The Florida sun is brutal with paint.
VOO is pretty damn expensive to buy whole shares. I have Charles Schwab for my 401k and Vanguard for my taxable. I buy VOO and VGT in fractional shares with vanguard because they are vanguard products. Can’t do that in Schwab
I definitely wouldn’t in your position. 240’s now a days are toys, not daily drivers to get you reliably to work day in and day out. I dailyed a 97 automatic almost 10yrs ago for a few years and it was reliable for the most part. I was young then and wouldn’t do the same thing now.
If you’re looking for a more exciting daily driver, look into 350z with the HR motor or 370z. Those should be fairly reliable if taken care of and a lot more power than you will reliably get out of a KA from a 240sx
VOO has much better growth. I started buying VOO in November of last year around $390-400 and look where we’re at now.
I buy VOO in my taxable because it mostly grows and is liquid incase I need access the funds. SCHD goes into my Roth so I can enjoy the passive income later on in life.
SCHD seems to have a hard ceiling around the $80 mark.
Please do not put your mom into Yieldmax funds. I’d much rather own JEPQ if I needed income every month.
You didn’t notice those rotors in that condition living in the same house???
I learned that and now I’m up $400 just from buying 2 shares the day after the split announcement lol
I have this exact delete and it is great. I think I only paid like $175 for it?? Well worth the money.
I have a black 2015 with the same wheels but in the raw aluminum finish. Did you powder coat the wheels? Do you have a specific color name? Looking to get my wheels done and put on some falken wild peaks 👍
Never said I’d get rich off two shares
I bought 2 shares the day after the split announcement. I’m a buy and hold investor so I fee in 5 years my 20 shares will be worth a decent bit by then.
If you don’t live together, just cut contact and be cold af. That will get the message to her loud and clear. If she wants to break up that’s one thing, it’s another thing with her trying to find another guy before she breaks up with you like getting hired at a new job before leaving an old one. Shit is mad disrespectful. You don’t even owe her an explanation.
Looking great honestly. You started over 10years sooner than I did. You’ll be a rich man in your 30s/40s if you keep this up
I agree, I have it as a very small position in my REIT category. I feel more comfortable with a larger position in VICI. I’d love to get on board with O if they’d just increase their damn dividend by a meaningful amount.
I haven’t been very impressed with O, had a small position and sold out of it. I am building up a position in VICI and PLD which is a logistics/warehouse REIT. I am a dividend growth investor and O has been very skimpy on their dividend increases over the last few years.
Just for context I sold my roller 97 original auto chassis for 9k with 167k miles. You should be asking a good bit more than 13k for such low miles plus running and driving manual. Good Luck
Started a taxable with Vanguard, hate everything about it other than being able to buy fractional shares in VOO and VGT plus any other vanguard etf.
Opened a Roth and taxable in Schwab and love it. Played with options for 4-5 months and ThinkOrSwim is an awesome tool.
