If you look closely, this is actually a subtle commentary on class divide and the reality that the middle class is shrinking.

So you're telling me squares are both rectangles and quadrilaterals? Fuck off, seppo!

Oh, but Officer Fajitasizzler clarified it was invented in Texas, effectively rendering Mexico's authority on fajitas moot.

Mita's is pan-latam, but their take on mexican posole verde is great (also definitely get the empanadas, tostones and jamon iberico if you're just doing tapas). For mexican, you can't go wrong with a staple like La Mexicana in Newport (big rec on some tacos de huitlacoche), or Tortilleria Garcia in College Hill, Taqueria San Miguel in Covington or Veracruz in East Price Hill (also recommend stopping into the panaderia next door, even just to smell the baked goods)

When the company was bought by Vault-Tec, she did technically become a Vault-Tec employee, or at least that was my impression. I'm going to guess she made corporate moves after the acquisition and was in one of the cryo tubes in 31.

FILE THIS WITH THE DEWY DECIMATION SYSTEM, YOU STYGIAN DOG.

I like using taza chocolates in my chiles - and I totally agree about chocolate or cocoa in general, I'm all for it.

From Cincinnati - In their defense, I've definitely heard people voice their revulsion about "chocolate" being used in Cincinnati chili (and I'm thinking the OP's mixing up chocolate and cocoa). I know some recipes call for either/both cocoa and cinnamon, and I think that the cocoa was just hearsay translated to chocolate for some people that don't know any better.

Not to get meta-iavc, but technically chiles are fruits - which I'd imagine would be right out for Uncle.

Right?! Who calls them "rock concerts"?

Tacos de papa are for sure a thing and rule when done right. That said, nothing Agave and Rye does is right - they're the affliction tshirt of appropriative cuisine.

And of course I actually have many friends, many friends who want to play backgammon with me. You'd be so surprised with how many friends I have, actually.

The AVP of IAVC: No matter who wins, we lose.

I think the whole denigrating "rural yokels from Pennsyltucky" has something to do with it, that's pretty heavy handed with the classist bullshit.
