Willie Nelson’s “Trigger” is a classical style guitar with a slotted headstock that he plays like a steel-string.

Acoustic just means it uses natural means for amplification rather than electric, and has nothing to do with the types of strings the guitar has.

I had the same experience, myself, driving past a car fire on the road a while ago. I could not believe the heat that I felt penetrate through my truck instantly as I drove past. I can only imagine being surrounded by flames. That was a humbling experience for me and made me respect fire that much more.

My guess: COO-LER. Coo is one sound, ler is the other. No need to double up consonants when the L isn’t even in the first syllable. Also, you broke your own rule as the L proceeds TWO O’s.

Lydia had it equipped for our adventures until we discovered what happens to her when I have 100% destruction reduction and the unbound storm spell.

Would two of the tan gears work, rather than one tan and one black?

I did better as an adult. I no longer succumbed to peer pressure because I was easily 15+ years older than most of the students by that point and, not to sound mean or dismissive, most of what they consisted “important” in their world was absolutely trivial in mine.

I also got along much better with the professors as an adult which helped tremendously when I needed some kind of accommodation.

I had a greater idea of what was important to me by this point in my life, too, so I spent less time waffling about trying to “find my purpose” and more time doing cool shit I liked.

I also got to experience the first run of licensed Harry Potter Lego sets, yellow mini-figs and all. I still have my revolving portrait of the fat lady and all the cool colorful, transparent “wands.”

Thanks for the dose of nostalgia with your post, I think I needed to remember these memories today.

I saw sorcerers stone in theaters when it came out, I was 12 and had already read the first four books (all that was available at the time). Absolute magic, I was hooked all over again. Here I am today, 35 and still a potterhead.

I’m the opposite most of the time. While it’s incredibly validating to find someone like myself, it’s even more humbling to find someone more me than myself.

A little baggie of dirt and spit rub, the cure for all wounds according to grandpa.

Just kidding, I had so much stuff in my little bag you’d mistake my stroller for an ambulance

Sorry, I spend too much time in the Cloud District to understand this.

I think you can straight up put in your termination on workday, so I think the ball is in your court

Take the price and multiply it by 1.X, where X is your sales tax percentage.

For states with a 6% sales tax, for example, a product that costs $199.99 could have tax solved as follows:

199.99 x 1.06 = $211.99 final cost after tax.

I clip my car keys to my giant, bright red water bottle so I am less likely to lose either.

If Harry reacts at all like the diary did when it was “killed,” both.

I’m thinking “snake” pronounced as “hnake,” with the nasal exhale “H” replacing the “S” sound?

Does the tabletop need to have secure footing on all four edges? Shorter edges higher than the longer edges, perhaps with some kind of tall “supports” on the long sides. More access along the long sides and a higher maximum build height with the minimal sacrifice of short side access and potentially some minor coffee tabletop stability concerns.

Alternatively, could the “lip” be affixed to the removable tabletop itself and instead slot into some grooves or guides you could affix or route on the lower, Lego building part of the table? This lets you make the lip as deep as you’d like with the advantage of full access to the Lego space. However, the extra bulk on a removable piece is likely to add both weight and encumbrance to maneuverability.

I’m not sure which is the best route. The higher the lip, the bigger your problems become, so maybe some out of the box thinking is necessary. Any lip-free ideas come to mind?

The bin of lonely socks. Whenever I have a lone sock I chuck it into the bin. Once a week or so, I go through the bin and match pairs. If anything lives in the bin for more than a couple months, it gets pitched.
