If you can find a used GSX-S1000GT try it out.

I’m 6’6” and enjoy mine immensely. It’s fun on the twisty roads, has bags for the overnights and I’m normally good for about two - three hours between breaks.

I have never met anyone that has left NJA for a regional but I’m sure someone has at some point.

I don’t think it means anything if it happens or not. After 25 years as a pro pilot I stopped paying attention to all of the things people do.

I just do what’s best for me and mine and hope it all works out.

Every flying machine can be self destructed mid air if flown improperly. Nothing special about the Robinson.

It’s your money and time. Just switch.

Who cares what anyone else thinks? Unless they are paying for your training… then you should care what they think.

It gives Parking Lot Patty more options.

Goto NetJets.

SkyWest is a contract carrier and exists at the whim of their legacy partners. Plenty of guys get hired straight from NetJets to legacies, often with no prior 121 experience.

Ask yourself where you would be happy to stay for a career if things don’t work out for that legacy job.

All regional airlines should be stepping stones. NJA is a career employer.

Just my opinion.

Welcome to Costco, I love you…

The time is upon us.

The rs660 our op want is under 15k new.

I have a twenty eight hour layover in Scranton next week. Kinda excited about it… I’ve heard good things.

Having worked for PSA and republic my general opinion is all regionals suck in one way or another. Do not sign a contract. Goto PSA. Study hard and move on.

Yes.

Any time you start training the outcome of said training will be on your PRIA.

It will be reported as incomplete not a failure.

I married my wife the week after my CFI ride. That was 25 years ago. She’s still my wife.

Her boyfriend’s career choice has nothing to do with whether or not they stay married.

Being the captain fixes this problem regardless of which part of the regs…

Later in your career when you get into a higher performance aircraft and the flight levels are your playground remember this flight.

Don’t try to climb over the baby thunderstorms. Once they start building they will climb faster than the jet and you’ll find yourself inside another storm.

Deviate.

Yeah. It’s all relative. The OP needs to provide more info for good recommendations. I sat on a new 1300gs last week and thought it felt much more compact and low to the ground compared to my 1200. On most bikes I look like a circus bear riding a bicycle.

Of course I have caught the track bug and now I’m shopping for something to track. So I’m on the other side of the coin looking for a sport bike I can ride.

Exactly. I’m 6’6”. I think every motorcycle is for short people.

Is the question limited to aviation crackpot theory?

If not then I submit:

The Apollo missions were staged.

9/11 was perpetuated by the U.S. government

The earth is flat.

The bolts that hold the wings on are about the size of a little finger.

Now you won’t worry so much about the gear. You’re welcome.

Yes. Totally worth it.

Right after you said money doesn’t matter you listed all the reasons money matters.

My daughter is a rising senior in high school and looking at engineering schools. My son wants to aviate for a living.

Air ambulance rotardy would have been very worried about how he would help his kids financially.

Airline pilot rotardy is not worried. Airline pilot rotardy is looking for ways to invest in assets that will provide generational wealth to his kids.

Plus I have a better schedule now. Kinda nice getting to enjoy more time with the sex trophies and spousal unit.

This job is not as boring as it looks from the outside. It’s still very rewarding but in different ways.

Good luck!

Getting furloughed six months into my first airline job.

Everyone knows it can happen. But boy when it actually happens it just sucks. By the second time I was fine. Just rolled with it and moved on.
