This dude was sentenced in January to 93 days after assaulting someone with a knife at Blind Pig in November. He spent all of Feb and March in jail, likely most of April.
Then he was free for less 2 months, more like less than 6 weeks before assaulting 2 people with a knife in separate incidents downtown on back to back days.
Interesting to note that the judge chose the max jail time instead of probation. That usually only happens when the judge and/or prosecutor decides that the criminal is very likely to not finish probation successfully.
My guess is that he’ll be sentenced to 12 years in prison. We will see.
