Why they should reboot "Quantum Leap". IMO

Quantum Leap is one of the oldest TV shows I have ever watched through the entire series multiple times and get about as much entertainment value as I do watching probably any modern show, if not more. Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) and Al (Dean Stockwell) did a terrific job at portraying a time traveler and his best friend (in the form of a "hologram") and never failed to bring out my emotions. I laughed, I cried, and they went through some of the most heart-wrenching episodes that in modern times would be largely controversial. You can tell there was a great attention to detail, to at least maintain a fair bit of historical accuracy.

I was 3 years old when the last episode aired. 20 years later, through the power of streaming I started watching it. Over the past few years, minus the occasional reference, I never hear anything about the show being followed up with something new. Every time I see Bakula or Stockwell, I immediately think of Quantum Leap. Almost anybody I mention the show to never heard of it. However, they know all about these modern shows that have nowhere near the impact and will have been forgotten about in a few months.

The top most reason I believe they should bring back Quantum Leap, apart from how much I want it back, is that it ended SO poorly. So many times I have seen it on the top worst series finale lists. There is no closure. Even if this show was brought back for just ONE more season, it would fill that empty hole. It could answer so many questions the show left us with. Even the intro teases you every episode: "...hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home".

Through everything, even the terrible finale, they didn't trap themselves. They even set the stage with "Sammy Jo" Fuller, being a possible main character in a reboot. To avoid spoilers, that is all I will say about that.

If you have not taken the time to watch it for whatever reason, I can not recommend you watch it enough. I don't know why you would be here reading this if you never watched it, but, all the same, you should add it to your to-do list.

PS: Ironically I heard about Quantum Leap through off the cuff references on modern shows. Nobody came up to me and said "Hey, have if you haven't already, you should see this!". That's partially the reason I write this post. Even if there were no other support for a reboot, I would be happy if just one person decided to watch it because of what I wrote.

TL;DR - Reboot Quantum Leap. If you've seen it, I bet you know all the reasons I wrote without having to read my whole post. It's a wonderful show that certainly has room to air in current times.

EDIT:
Update: The Quantum Leap Reboot IS happening as of 2022! (More of a continuation) I can't believe it! Those of us who believed that ending wasn't really the ending and we get to find out what happened to Sam Beckett at last get some finalization. There are rumors that it's woke, and I really hope that's not true. Otherwise, no matter how high my hopes are, I am still in shock that this is really happening. I never thought in a million years this post would come true. Thanks for all the conversation! I can't wait to talk about the new show.

I used to play this game! It's called Brain Damage.

Give Geo cruel blessing. Give Deacon nature's wrath blessing. Give a champion toxic gear. Try for 100% crit rate on every champ.

You got this! Make these changes and you are more than there.

Bingo bango. Very rare circumstances that you opt for no ignore defense on a nuker. If you could, that would be wonderful, as it opens up build possibilities a lot.

On top of that, harima cuts your ignore defense in half, so if you went overboard and had 120% ignore defense, harima brings it to 60%.

In the typical case for most accounts and most nukers, ignore defense gear is the best option for gear.

Me too. Read every word again, unfortunately.

I don't care if the man she was hanging with is gay or straight, she was prioritizing someone else during your relationship and showed her exact intentions to you. Appreciate the time you had. End things and keep them ended and let her go. I had a similar thing happen to me. I felt anger over everyone involved and here I am months later still wounded from ending things and putting her on block for the last time.

There were red flags that I ignored. That was a big mistake. I told myself I should always listen to my gut, it never lets me down, and I ignored it. Now I'm paying the consequences.

She can do whatever she wants to do. If she wants to go out and rave and party all night with some dude, she clearly doesn't want to be in a relationship. My advice is to be single for a while and enjoy it. Feel the weight disappear, the stress of having to worry about what someone else is doing when they aren't even trying to be your teammate is too much for anyone to handle.

I'll start off by saying... Way better than I can do! Following that, he was mediocre at best. I've heard a fair many national anthems, this one doesn't even break the top 5. What makes this next level?

Sets that negate defense are good for all nukers. I use savage and helmsmasher, but that's only because I don't have very good lethal.

He's easy to build. Doesn't require accuracy, just straight damage, and being void he has no weakness.

I use him everywhere there is wave content and I have the option. He does serious work with his a4.

After a few times watching, I finally saw the robot. Was it designed to carry melons? Seems like that could be useful for her.

More than worth. He's one of my favorite champs. Just put him in your best fastest nuker gear and he's on his way. Congrats.

I used to have a Chihuahua that I named Roscoe. Best dog I ever had! Also the only dog I've ever had.

I have literally used the phrase "blow up the bathroom" my entire life. Never thought it could land me in trouble.

Fortnite Margarita

Edit: Forza Margarita

I just saw them in channel 69 pulling souls. They got some really good souls. That's how they got such a high score.

Volbeat. Atreyu. Bullet for my Valentine. Good Charlotte. Blink-182. Sum 41. Bowling for Soup. Steriogram. System of a Down. Linkin Park. The Killers. Weird Al. The Who. Metallica. Van Halen. All-American Rejects. My Chemical Romance. Bon Jovi. Billy Joel. AC/DC. Foo Fighters. Green Day. Damn is that 24 already?

No offense to any of the ones I missed and I would say this list is subject to change. It's not my top 25, it's just the first best 24 I could think of besides A7X, and this is just the rock category. To actually pick my top 25 is a tall order, so I selected based on no 1 hit wonders, multiple songs that I know and can sing, and if a song comes on by them that I haven't heard I don't immediately change it.

7 Days to Air - The amount of time it takes to make an episode of South Park in a fantastic documentary. I recommend you watch it.

Someone didn't release me when I was at wrestling practice after I tapped. So I bit his arm. I didn't know what else to do and it started to hurt.

Marcia Marcia Marcia!

Can we please get a follow up photo of her in a nose cast?
