First of all - I know there's no money!
Have they officially said that they have stopped providing some services?
For example, the public areas around me are all way overgrown with long grass that has gone to seed, brambles etc because they haven't been cut this year. I know that they do "No Mow May", but it's nearly July now. When/If they ever come round to do it now, instead of ten minutes of mowing the grass it will take a full day to uproot the established saplings, brambles, sticky willy and so on.
It's not that important, but like potholes etc, it adds to the feeling of social decline.
Is there an actual policy on it? Does anyone here know?
Do you know anywhere in the UK that does that? Nowhere that I've ever asked have been willing to do it.
Yeah - especially the second pic, but OP says not.
Also in the UK. Is it a real pizza shop, or a kebab shop that sells pizzas? They mainly use premade bases that you can get in places like costco or other wholesalers.
Exchange rates. The Yen is very weak against many other currencies right now
Chipotles are pretty small - I don't want to big myself up too much, but I would imagine deepthroating a chipotle is not a challenge for people experienced with the real thing.
And it's nothing special. I see on other subs American people going mad for Kerrygold butter. It's like bog standard butter here.
Can't be asked to learn Spanish for a 1 weekholiday ngl.
Seems like you already have a problem with English as a language ;-)
Do you have any political views or a philosophy on football that can help you decide?
Welcoming players to the club. This should just be automatic. In real life, all new signings would be welcomed by someone.
Hi - I'm in Glasgow.
I don't know what your specific recipe is, but I find that here I always need to adjust the amount of water down and allow much more proofing time than any recipes I've ever seen online. I also use a mix of flours, because the bread flours you can get in the supermarket are, in my opinion, designed for making sandwich loaves.
No eye contact. "Sorry, mate". Keep walking. No problem.
My comment was the opposite - that they are pretty much taught in all schools here. I'm Scottish, so the Wasp Factory was taught as contemporary Scottish literature. We didn't do American Psycho, but my SYS project was on A Clockwork Orange.
The Wasp Factory was definitely better received than the hellish Sunset Song :-)
I mean those are all pretty legitimate books to read in an English class.
So with English, once you know it, it's the same wherever you go.
You've clearly never been to Glasgow.
There's very little free parking around the uni. It has decent public transport connections though. Unless you are planning on living outside the city, or have mobility issues, it's probably more trouble than it's worth.
I agree in principle, but the roots of the saplings are already pulling up the pavement here and, as someone else mentioned, it can cause problems for drivers at junctions. The patch I'm looking at is right on the corner and while there is no problem right now, if it isn't managed in some way then it will block visibility at the junction.
They've left the park on Crow Road uncut deliberately and parts of it are prettier now, although the path is really dark because of the tree canopy that has grown. So in my opinion, it's about striking a balance between having useful public spaces and providing a natural environment for flowers, insects etc.
Can't anyone just draw something on their ticket? I used to make origami frogs from them. Can't do that with a smartcard.
Iḿ not sure about that. Cameron won the election in 2015 (1 year before the Brexit vote) by promising a referendum, if people wanted to they could have voted against him then.
Plenty of people knew what Brexit would mean. I knew what it meant. People who could read and understand information knew what it meant. Xenophobes and racists even knew what it meant.
Unfortunately, there are also a lot of people who are hard of thinking who voted without doing any research. There are so many stories of people who voted for Brexit and then, when it took effect, not understanding why they lost their right to freedom of movement for example.
Fahrenheit, right?
How can i make pizza exactly like my local pizza place?
Pizza
