That’s a fair point. They look like an ER visit waiting to happen. The only thing that attracts me is how many uses they have, but I’m usually one to over pack anyways

You never know what you’ll encounter deep in the national forests haha. I’m looking at recovery boards and recovery straps at a minimum. Thoughts on a farm jack? Every mall crawler here seems to have one
Any recommendations for an inflator? I have a hand held that plugs into the car; it takes a while to pump all 4 tires but it’s saved me on road trips.
As the title suggests I’m looking to get into overlanding. I just bought a 4 door wrangler Willy’s edition and I’m going to start out on some basic trails or fire roads.
What are some must haves besides a med kit, tool kit, etc.? I live on the east coast so will be spending most of my time in the Appalachian mountains
