I too love a bidet and used the culo clean on a last trip. Was lazy on the first day and a half, but finally used it on night 2. Oh my goodness, I felt sooooo clean instantly! We were on our way out in the morning, so ended up using a small water bottle for the bidet bottle. So worth it!

Elgin Park is nice for a picnic and a walk. Berries in the summer to pick and eat.
The Glades Woodland Garden, Darts Hill Gardens, Sendall Gardens, and many others are beautiful and cheap, if not free.

I don't think that you can borrow the tech through ILL but you can just go to a FVRL branch and get a membership to borrow those things. White Rock and George Mackie and Langley are close, depending on where you live in Surrey.
Took the Expo for the first time in a looong time and there was no breathable air in there at rush hour. It was refreshing each time the train stopped and I learned to stand behind where the doors open so air would come in for a few seconds at each stop.
A lot of countries don't have public libraries and newcomers don't know how they work.

People have definitely been stealing plants. Bear Creek gardens had signs saying so. So if from a public park, why not a community garden? And apparently in people's homes too.
Savory bars - this might not be too hard to make, I'm experimenting with savory rice krispies. Google recipes for loaded rice krispies and just change up the added stuff for whatever you like. I tried a regular recipe and sprinkled some furikake. I saw a ramen rice krispy recipe. Marshmallows are obviously sweet, but if you don't mind sweet/savory, those are a change. I saw one with black sesame, but I bet you could swap out for natural nut butters or tahini, and add some other savories like nuts or bacon bits, haha
I did it the weekend before but only up to Vista 1/2. Lots of bugs going up the switchbacks!
Where are people buying things like cereal, oatmeal, nuts, etc.? Toilet paper, etc.? I don't have a Costco membership and I try not to go to Walmart...
