I have a UFE scheduled which I am hoping gets me through to menopause. I'm hesitant to get a hysterectomy only because I have mixed feelings about having an entire organ removed 🤣

My doc says BC really doesn't do much for fibroids, I was on copper IUD when diagnosed, then tried Mirena to control the ovarian cysts they also found, then oral BC, and over the last 3 years the BC helps the cysts and has done nothing for the fibroids or their symptoms, EXCEPT I do get less breakthrough bleeding with the oral BC.
Did your obgyn say the hormones help with fibroids or are supposed to make your periods more tolerable? I have fibroids and ovarian cysts and she only messed with my BC to help the cysts, she said the BC really doesn't do anything for the fibroids and in my experience so far she was not wrong.

Stargate Universe has a really good episode, I dont remember what episode but they are are kinda stuck in a cave for part of it. It was also my introduction to Saul Williams List of Demands song and I still love it.
Also the slime charmer ring was a huge help for me because you can ignore them and it takes one enemy out of the equation.
