I have the ebook and have looked through it a few times. Everything looks incredible. I should probably try to cook some things from the ebook before I spring for the full book.
I like just feastcoast! Short and simple
I could totally see it, spelled Lockett though
Cash is a not-uncommon name where I live. All the Cashes I’ve known (I’m a teacher) have been troublemakers.
Bam is not a name.
That’s because the same receptors that detect spicy in your mouth also exist in your anus! Enjoy! 💕
I need the complete list. For science.
I didn’t dislike him…
When I was a little name-obsessed kid, I would line up two real names with the same number of letters and I’d trade letters between them. It took me a while to figure out I had to make sure the vowels and consonants were in the same place.
Example:
Amelia
x
Olivia
Alevia
or
Omilia
…Both of which are terrible. But you get the point.
I remember getting some really interesting names this way! I wish I remembered some of them.
I had a student with this name! I had to check that you weren’t her. But based on your past posts, you appear to be an adult.
I’ve really only added it to foods, like mixing it into a smoothie or stirring it into oatmeal. Apparently it has a lot of baking applications though! I’ll be curious to see what others suggest for you.
No, but it’s pretty well-done. The only mention of it online is this YouTube video, plus a few other people wondering if it’s real. Something like this would have a ton of official promo.
This is a hostile work environment. Clearly the company itself isn’t going to do anything, so you need to look outside for support.
Consider filing a complaint with the Department of Labor: https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/contact/complaints
The “mutt” comment: is that race-related? If so, you may have a case for the EEOC: https://www.eeoc.gov/youth/how-file-complaint
I always trust America’s Test Kitchen for decisions like this. If you’ve never seen their product testing videos, I recommend giving them a watch. They’re very thorough. You can find them on YouTube.
Looks like they’re a fan of the Braun Multiquick. https://www.americastestkitchen.com/equipment_reviews/2450-immersion-blenders
Wow, I think Elleni and Houston might be their best options here (aside from Elena and Brian).
Have they considered: instead of Abstinence, Celibacy? Instead of Juul, Vaipe? Instead of Bexar, Moxose (pronounced Moose)?
Phoebe and Jay is actually a cute pairing! Or Phoebe and Jason/Jacob/etc. so it’s less obvious but you can still call them Jay.
I’ve heard it was a common thing teens had to do, take care of a sack of flour for a week or so to see what it would be like to take care of a baby.
In my home ec class (20+ years ago!) we had robot babies that cried and needed to be “fed” and have their diaper changed. What this actually looked like was that I had to stick a key in the doll’s back to show that I had responded to its needs in a reasonable amount of time. I wonder what the kids are doing now.
Gunner is a Norse name, although I think it’s usually spelled Gunnar. But I have a sneaking suspicion many of the Gunners in the US are not of Norse ancestry.
/uj (is that un-jerk?) Okay, hear me out. Try buying a wedge of real parm. Real, good parm. I recommend Kirkland Parmigiano Reggiano Stravecchio (from Costco). Break off a big chunk. Stick it in a food processor or blender. Make your OWN cheese powder that tastes absolutely chef’s kiss 🤌
I ate the powdered stuff forever, but I’m never going back.
Not OP, but I bought a used copy of “A Super Upsetting Cookbook about Sandwiches.” It’s pretty entertaining.
What is the least practical cookbook you own?
