Is he still a senator? If yes, then he did win.
Then we're back to "stop using talc".
Perhaps you should try buying higher quality products.
The problem with any of the letters is that even if they are speaking for God, they're speaking for God about a particular situation in a particular city at a particular time.
We have the letters from Paul, but not the letters to Paul. We don't know the context, and unless someone finds something at an archeological site one day, we probably never will.
It's the book that forces me to reject the idea that the bible is a "100% historically accurate document". Because no, I refuse to believe that God would actually subject someone to all that just to test their faith. Job is a parable, not a real person.
I'm sorry if you hadn't realized it before, but your guy is a criminal. Just the things that we're 100% sure of include:
- Election Fraud
- Sexual Assault
- Financial Fraud
In addition to that, he's featured prominently in Epstein's documents, definitely took foreign money while in office (which to his credit, may not have been illegal, just immoral), has already sold executive orders to the oil industry, and is also known for not paying bills and happily suing people to try and cover up when his wrongdoing is revealed.
I wouldn't say NOTHING happened. Just because January 6th failed, doesn't mean you get to pretend it didn't happen.
I'd also guess there's a lot of women out there looking at their state's new abortion bans who would also disagree with your idea of what "nothing" is.
Because Democrats are terrible at messaging.
People are starting to take it seriously, otherwise someone wouldn't have grabbed Trump's phone from him long enough to write the tweet where he said he never heard of it, but disagrees with some of the stuff he never heard of.
Post it all you want... people already know Trump's a liar. And that the Heritage Foundation made up a decent amount of his staff.
He's against Project 2025, he just happens to want to do everything they want him to.
"Why isn’t Trump’s outrageous call for televised military tribunals for his enemies leading every newscast? WHY?" warned Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia's Center for Politics, on X. "Never has a President proposed such a sick thing. Are you all completely numb to the dictatorial future Trump projects for America? Some of you will be featured in the tribunals — and not just covering them."
Since Trump's threat of military tribunals for his enemies has slipped under the radar because we're too busy arguing about Biden's age.
Not really surprising, you don't call yourself a Catholic in good standing if you're not going to accept the Pope's authority.
Ask Martin Luther about that.
Possibly not any safer, but you're usually not dumping chalk on your crotch and your babies.
Your choice of:
A - Trump is lying (as usual)
B - Trump is too dumb to realize he's literally surrounded by Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society cronies.
To be fair, if I was a dark shadowy mastermind and had to use Trump as my puppet, I probably wouldn't tell him any of the details... I'd just hand him pre-written orders to sign and a list of names to appoint.
Even if it was true (and we all know it isn't):
Agenda 47 == Project 2025 light.
It's got the anti-LGBTQ agenda, the takeover of federal offices with partisan cronies, and the tax breaks for the rich and the removal of regulations.
About the only thing missing is the anti-abortion stuff, but even then, we know Trump wants to "turn it over to the states", which just means giving GOP-run states permission to ban abortion.
Instead Trump says he's going with Agenda 47... which is an odd mishmash of points straight out of Project 2025, like the part where they implement an extreme anti-LGBTQ agenda and fill the federal government with useless cronies, but adds fun things like a focus on building flying cars and building "freedom cities" full of factories on federal land.
But it could not rule out that the talc in some studies was contaminated with cancer-causing asbestos.
Hmm, I wonder if the issue is actually companies are either unwilling or unable to keep asbestos out of their talc products.
Though the end conclusion is technically the same... we shouldn't be using talc.
Or possibly only using certified asbestos-free talc, though I would think if that was something easy to do, we'd already have it.
It's probably true that he doesn't actually know anything about it.
He'll just do whatever the Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society plants in his staff tell him to do, which is what makes him so dangerous.
Even someone like Mike Johnson might potentially push back against something, but not Trump... give him his diet Coke and a compliment and he'll sign whatever you stick in front of him.
That's because the right has done a great job of keeping the dial cranked to 11 for the past 10+ years now.
People have become numb... I try not to, but I won't pretend one of the thoughts in my head the first time I saw this story was "oh look, MORE threats of violence, must be a day that ends in 'Y'"
