"Hey, how do we handle a billing issue at the gate?"

"Imply they're not getting on the flight if they don't shut up"

While I don't think it has a place in the logical progression of expansions at the current state of the game (Difficulty curve seems to be tuned Core->EoD->SotA=PoF->HoT->HoT Classic), I would legitimately enjoy areas dedicated to more challenging open world content that's not tied to a pass/fail meta event that resets the zone every couple hours.

The damage still feels too high even with the significant HP gains off jade bots and armor "repair" buff, alongside a few pieces of Dragon stats splashed in.

I can't imagine how brutal this was when everyone was rolling around in core only gear before the original tuning pass.

I can see Celebration picking them up, they're reasonably close to Grand Rapids where Celebration's stronghold is.

WHOPER would have end up being GPT powered and it'd try to launch the missiles at the end instead of learning about not causing the end of humanity by playing tic-tac-toe, but the last scene is nothing happening because it was just making up the codes instead of ever having them.

It's a dangerous dance. To be effective at the state level, the population needs to be solid blue or so deep into purple that it's singing Highway Star or you end up getting county level groups like Ottawa Impact running a state.

Michigan ran the razor's edge in 2022 and ended up coming out on top for Dems, but it was legitimately uncomfortable watching it happen.

It's amazing how effective nano annihilation is. That thing turns Rammatra into the largest sized eraser tool from MSPaint.

Man, I haven't been up to Rays in years. Sounds like a plan for the weekend.

Legacy naming strikes again.

It's named PDC.

Huh, I guess I never really thought about the alternates needing to stick around until it's done. Can't imagine how terrible that's got to be.

But little did anyone know,

The great effort and will to tow

A hero to the water and river bed below

The grand story of the man named XanDuLow

If this is what it takes to get Winds of Winter, so be it. Maybe the GA case will get the third Kingkiller book out.

These things are generally GPS tracked so they can be recovered for charging/battery swapping. 225+ scooters going offline or missing on the edge of a bridge should have prompted a recovery effort. But, from the sounds of it, they're too busy threatening to sue people and going turbo broke.

I'm confused as to what they tried to sue you for. Seems like you're taking care of an illegal dumping site for them.

If you think „that’s something different!“, congrats, you’re a hypocrite.

Nah, seems like a mostly reasonable argument. Is it fully optimal? No, not at all! Should support builds bring as much uptime as possible to boons in a raiding situation? Sure thing! Should DPS bring as much power as possible to be optimal? Yep!

However - Will you still complete content with 85% uptime on boons? Outside of the hardest content, it's pretty likely. Will you complete content with mid 30s dps? Again, pretty likely. Will it be optimal? Nope. Smooth? Probably not. Will it still be fun? That's up to the group.

Players: "Why can't we find enough new people to fill gaps for our groups?"

Also Players: "Your adequate DPS is bad and you should feel bad"

Remind me again what the dps output of players was when 95% of the game was balanced? You know, before the massive dps inflation of EOD/SOTA.

Good lord people, it's not a meta build, but it's more than reasonable enough to get the job done. Are there improvements that could be made? Sure! A 34k, dead simple dps build shouldn't be discouraged though. I'd rather have 2-3 low ceiling players than players who are failing to land a high ceiling complex rotation and under performing.

I know it would cost more. I know it would. But please, for the love of anything holy, please cap off the cement slab gaps with something so we don't hear the wonderful Michigan road anthem of HMMMMMMMM THUTHUNK HMMMMM THUTHUNKTHUNK HMMMMMMMMM THUTHUNK every time we're on the highway!

Dude, even the island is giving advice in this thread.

Gotta agree with this one. If you're camping somewhere you don't have a 100% exit plan for, pack a couple extra days worth of supplies in. MRE / backpacker style food lasts for years and is usually weighs in next to nothing extra to pack in and out if you're going for the remote locations. Worst case, you end up eating the older stock at home, they're really not too bad these days.

The almost non existent footprint is what I like best about it. In less than the space of a jpeg, you can figure out what's eating up all the space on a drive, plus there's a portable version. It's far from the "best" as it's painfully slow vs others listed in the thread, but speed doesn't matter when you're trying to figure out what ate up 60% of a user's drive. (It's PST/OSTs. It's almost always PST/OSTs)

Well, huh. I never made the connection to the TPS reports being something that actually mattered, I always figured it was just another level of corporate hoops to jump through as a parallel to the 15 pieces of flair.

I'm really hoping (Not)Mercy's kit makes it into the game somehow. The damage boost with AOE tracers, the corpse explosion, the "I'll do it myself" ult... really was a super fun kit even in the numbers need serious tuning to balance it. I can't tell you how many PotGs I got by popping a Rein that "overextended" on purpose.

They absolutely nailed the cold feeling of Anti-Mercy by letting the player choose to not heal someone because they were in a position to be more valuable as a bomb. A gimmick mode to asset dump what was left of the PVE content, and Reverse-Mercy felt closer to a fully realized character, meshing design and abilities, than Sojourn has managed to land in the year she's been in the game.

Fair enough there then. Since that's the overall premise of the entire thing (weapons marketed to a child), doesn't sound like there's much else to see here.

Gun mfg: sure, I can see that one. If they can be found guilty of marketing to underage kids, lets go.

Meta/Instagram: We're stretching hard here, but if they're serving ads for weapons to underage kids, let's bring it to light.

Activision/CoD: Is settlement fishing a thing? This really seems like they're tacking this on through the thinnest of connections to cash out. This feels like the equivalent of suing Take Two/Rockstar for allowing players to drive drunk in GTA, so clearly they're at fault for a DUI or Microsoft because Forza let's you drive over the speed limit.
