I always think about movies and TV series as something that the director created how they wanted it too. Like, if they wanted that scene, they added that scene because they WANTED to. To want to do something is a good enough reason for me, yk? Like, yeah, it has no point to ME, but the director wanted to so they did. It’s their craft etc after all.
Some bakers bake their cakes and people are like “why”, and the reason is “I wanted to”. Some producers make their songs how they want them and people “why” them again. If you don’t like it it just means it’s not for you, everybody agrees and moves on. There is a lot of art, food, music, entertainment etc to choose from.

Letting babies cry to sleep creates a strong distrust for the world. Their needs (comfort, soothing, warmth, etc) are not met. Crying is the — only — way newborns can communicate with the world. They’re full on emotions, impressions and whatsoever. I skip all the “we’re horny af and want to fuck” smut, not interested at all. I’m interested in raw emotions basically.
