Cool follow up! I like your scientific approach this time.

Heck yea, go for it. Especially because it's free to try (no need to plug or re-drill anything as long as you are only trying during practice).

I'm 40, but an out of shape 40 with a lot of physical ailments. I switched because my wrist and elbow couldn't handle 1 handed anymore. With 2 handed, my wrist and elbow feel great. I can bowl way more games in a day now with no back or knee or joint soreness.

At the very least, it's a lot of fun to try and learn the different style.

I actually like Green Acres. I live a bit further south and am surrounded by Bowleros (Boca, Margate, and Tamarac are all within 20-25 minutes of me). Green acres is a bit further, but any time I'm there they have lanes available that seem to be oiled pretty frequently.

Only the Boca Bowlero seems to oils their lanes often, but they get very busy and it can be hard to get a lane. Tamarac is bone dry on the "party" side and is hot or miss on the league side. And Margate has just gone down hill pretty fast since Bowlero bought them out.

I imagine the durability would be identical between the 2. Pick your favorite color (or whatever is cheaper). Plastic is brittle, so I don't know that any plastic spare ball is more durable than the others.

Yeah, I think it depends on the layout and how much the PAP changed.

I had a Phase 2 drilled with a short pin layout (#2 2ls) based on my first PAP when I was learning 2 handed. Then as I learned and improved, my PAP obviously changed a lot, and the Phase 2 started to give me a lot of issues. It turns out that my PAP moved almost an inch right and up, and it made the already short pin basically right on top of my PAP.

So that's an extreme example, but a real one!

Same stats as you, and I also went black pearl 78d because it hooks less than the purple. It's been an absolute THS killer for me.

I'm jealous. My 2014 has 186,000 miles and I was really hoping to hit 200k with it. But I just got quoted $3600 to repair/replace clutches. So instead, I'll be donating it (or maybe giving it a viking funeral).

Is he a beginner? The new Tropical Surge purple/navy looks great and is a great ball to learn with.

I just finally pulled the trigger and bought a Click-Stand, and I have to say it is awesome. I'm sorry I waited so long.

Thanks again! And I've been on Gebhardt's website so many times but never made a purchase. I'm glad to hear that they have such great customer service.

That's awesome, thanks! I'm also 11.5 in most shoes.

So funny that you brought up ventilation, because that's my biggest issue with my Brunswick Punishers: they run HOT.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions!

I've been looking at these for a while! How's the fit (run big/small/normal)? And are they as comfy as they look?

You killed my harden with that celebration

And also gas. If you stay and your area takes a pretty good hit, the roads can be blocked (like you said) and gas can also be very hard to come by. Last time Broward County took a good hit (I think it was Wilma) where we lost power for an extended amount of time, they were reserving gas for first responders and medical professionals in my area for a good amount of time.

I switched from 1 handed to 2 handed. As a 1 hander, I found it very easy to change my axis rotation depending on the way the lane was playing.

As a 2 hander, I can come straight up the back of the ball and throw completely flat/straight, or come all the way around the ball. No in between with any real consistency. Any advice?

(Also, love your channel!)

I love when he says this. Gets me every time.

I'm in a 2014 at 185,000 miles and just got my 4th TCM last week, but the car still lost power when leaving the dealership, so it's back (I'm guessing the clutch also needs replacement).

Gotcha. I wore something similar to this one because I also have weaker wrist and was having pain. Then I tried bowling without it to get more under the ball, and ended up hurting my wrist real bad.

So I'd recommend getting some sort of wrist support just to avoid injury. You can try something less bulky like the Master Wrister or even just get some K-Tape to see how that works. Anything that will give you extra support.

They also make the more intense ones like these that are supposed to help you wrist get in a better position and build up some strength/muscle memory while wearing it.

Are you facing just fatigue or do you get actual pain?

I love this. In the late 90s/early 2000s I used a navy blue Zone (not pro version) and my dad had a red Hammer like yours. Memories!

I worked in the Publix bakery for a long time, and I never liked their key lime pie. It's too...gloopy and overly sweet. It comes in pre-made and frozen, like 95% of everything else in the Publix bakery.

One time a customer ordered one, but when preparing the orders we saw there were none left. My old-school manager grabbed the ingredients and made a couple key lime pies from scratch. We ate the one that came out less pretty, and my God it was 50x better than the frozen Publix one.

Or the opposite. The brand new Mercedes and BMWs doing whatever the hell they want.
