4th is probably a .... Expedition

Californian living in NL, I brought seeds to try and have a coastal in a pot since my wife already has a giant in a pot.... The seeds are terrible to sprout. It's said only about 1 in 20 germinate.

I have about 1 more batch to go in hopes of getting one.

But all the fires means that they're all getting roasted every few years

Redwoods are interesting to grow. There is a saying for them, "young trees grow in the shadow of giants".

So I imagine once they become giants, they'll just still feel like babies

Isle Of Man TT race was this weekend... No clue when it happened though

I'm sure there will be some excuse in the next few days.

Typically a decel in a non decel area would be deemed as an unchaseable lead. Deane would have had no idea to anticipate that slowing, but I did see that there was a note in the drivers meeting to "avoid any unnecessary collisions" or something along those lines.... Like a collision typically means an accident, but not putting tires on doors.

I think they might have eyes in groups like this reading about how everyone is accusing them of wanting it to be bumper cars.

Either way, it's a shit show and this will likely be the last event I try and keep up with for FD

Am I tripping or does it not have any plates at all?

Yeah, that was super sad. I saw them 2 years ago and everyone would cheer and clap every time we saw them go by again

Oh... In that case, idk what I'm talking about. Sorry

I never tried it. I figured the short wheelbase would have been rough. I eventually got into tuning my own builds and never really looked back

Not a bad finish after qualifying at like 145th place

Woke up around 3am was confused, scrolled back, saw the same thing for hours. Went back to live, woke up again at 8am and was very confused at it still being the same scene just not black....

Finally woke up at 9a and scrolled all the way back to see the red... At least I didn't miss too much

I'm fairly new to watching the race so I wouldn't doubt there are on track incidents between drivers. Just hoping it's never happened with a recovery vehicle, but their lights should make them incredibly visible even around corners

I didn't know it was flooding over there, but it's been a very wet spring/summer for us. I live about 3 hours from the track and went 2 years ago. I remember on my trip there, part of the track got rain which some people were able to swap tires right away and it didn't affect them, while others who hadn't driven past the rain yet had to go through on slicks.

Then later in the night there was yellows for ever because of fluids that spilled before the mini carousel, which made things interesting for some cars getting there not realizing their tires picked up water/oil

I got home rather late but caught snippets, here and there. Was there also an issue with tire choices and rain?

Yeah the multiple classes means they'd be used to slower cars on track...

That poor Dacia Logan last year though. Glad they're back in another car

I think it was about a year or 2 ago, 2 people died testing these cars at this track

Not sure why you were downvoted, but that's also been my experience as well. Somewhere around 8-10 minutes
