Exactly. Years ago I thought it’d be impossible to stop missing my ex but as time passed it slowly faded away and eventually came a point where I couldn’t even remember how missing him felt like. I recently coincidentally met his next ex after me and while I initially was excited to talk to her and gossip a bit, I realized my ex became too irrelevant to my life to even think or talk about him. Time is one crazy concept.
We did a courthouse wedding which was a 2 minute walk from our house so afterwards we invited everyone for basically a huge potluck, mom sew my dress and I made my own accessories and did my own makeup so in the end we probably only spent around $200-$300 for the entire thing. It was also one of the most fun days I’ve ever had.
