That’s madness. I played AAA growing up in Manitoba, and it was always under 10k. We only went to 1 tournament a year too. My parents were comfortable, but not super rich, and definitely wouldn’t be able to afford 40k a year.

English is great man. No issue with it at all!

I’m not a vegan, or vegetarian, so here’s my take on this. I find eating dog not necessarily morally wrong, just the thought of it grosses me out since I have a different relationship to dogs than I do to cows or pigs for example. I don’t really have a problem with other cultures doing it, but I personally wouldn’t eat a dog. I think it mostly boils down to cultural differences. Some people in India find it morally wrong to eat cow, same thing goes for people finding it wrong to eat dog in the west. It’s just simply the cultural relationship with the animal.

No, you’re just terminally online. Most people in real life don’t think of systemic racism when someone mentions racism.

Dude it’s a joke. Lighten up a bit. I (22m) just hung out with a girl last night (19f), and when talking about the age difference I said I felt like Leonardo DiCaprio, and she laughed. It’s obviously a joke man lol.

People only care if you’re a pretentious prick about it. Just hung out with a buddy who quit drinking (just taking a break from it) and was drinking non-alcohol beer while playing drinking games. Totally cool. It’s the people who act like they’re levitating morally above the peasant drinkers that are annoying. Big difference between “Nah, I just don’t drink”, and “Nah, I don’t drink and people who do don’t care about their health and have a problem.”

Drinking beer lmao. Sort of half joking but not really.

Tik Tok brain moment. “Cut out all of that boring character development crap and give me some slop I can consoom instead”.

Baffling how the execs don’t realize that if they released a good fucking game, people would buy it and they’d make more money. Pretty damn simple. Hell if it was really good I actually might pay for the battle pass or whatever they call that nonsense. Great example is paradox who makes strategy games. They have a pretty predatory DLC policy, but their games are excellent and DLCs add hundreds of more hours to the game, so people generally are willing to buy their shit. Figure it the fuck out EA.

As soon as I saw the Adam Sandler outfit I knew you were gonna stripe it.

my parents bought their house in the 90s for 90k. Now its worth almost 400k. Shit's absolutely ridiculous.

Because I love my friends and family, and feel like this is my home. That simple. Love it here.

Winnipeg - Winters are cold as all fuck (except for this year), transit system is next to useless (I once waited in -35 with a zillion mph north wind for 2 busses in a row that didn’t show up), and during the summer every major road is under construction due to them being similar to driving down the streets of Bakhmut, Ukraine. Mosquitos will be the size of a bird and suck a full quart of blood out of you, and in certain areas people like to get a little stabby, but other than that, I actually really like living here.

Liar piece of shit part is probably valid, but paying off someone isn’t illegal, the using the campaign funds part is, but it shouldn’t be 34 felonies. It’s excessive and is obviously politically motivated.

I definitely don’t need to be drunk or high to be happy, but I don’t think I could permanently give up drinking which is (hopefully) what OP is getting at. For example, I really enjoy golfing. I’ve had some great times golfing with close family sober, or having an early morning round with a good friend sober. What I also love doing is going golfing with a group of friends, having some drinking on the course, then going out to the bar after for food and beers. It’s 2 types of fun, and I don’t think I’d be willing to give the second one up for 100k.

I play multiple sports and like to drink alcohol and smoke a bit of weed. You can do both. I don’t see what’s wrong with getting drunk sometimes if you’re a healthy person. I get you don’t understand the appeal, but drinking is fun.
