Does any one else have a pro who splashes in the water bowl? My vet says the SharPei have a unique genetic code, and that they splash water they intend to drink because of an impulse to prevent drinking bacteria or worms in the water.

I have this same one. I feel like the water colum has been very volatile. Many times the conditions at the top and bottom are drastically different. I do not run any heat, airatior or pump filter.
I did plant it well though and that helps.
