Like, I’ve picked up some stuff (ACOG good, etc.), but for the most part when people talk about how the guns compare to one another it goes right over my head. What’s actually distinguishing the “good” guns to make them good? Why does it matter which op has frags? Why are some new-release ops considered bad? The whole Siege metagame feels completely foreign to me. How’s it work?
I think the less we knew and saw about Tom the better his character functioned.
Echoing what others have said about there being no true equal to Outer Wilds, what I can say is that I got the same feeling playing The Witness as I did this.
I want limited weapon space. RDR2’s holster/saddle storage system did wonders to make the horse feel important, I want cars to feel the same way.
“When people accuse KF of selling out to sponsors they insult our character”
The character in question:
This may sound strange, but it’s going back to V’s apartment at the end of the day. Never before in a video game have I felt the slightest desire to roleplay my character going home and sleeping at a reasonable hour, but for some reason I did it almost every night for 111 hours of playtime.
Honestly? Ross saying the wrong name at the altar. That was the moment that the writers decided they weren’t going to prioritize what was natural for the characters anymore in favor of watercooler drama.
I think Job, if I had to choose. It’s the most stirring defense of faith in the ultimate extremity.
I am fully in support of this for no other reason than because when it inevitably fails we can have real solutions all the sooner.
Counterpoint: By any metric, the Tragedeigh naming convention is itself “cultural” among a particular subset of American society.
I am much more liable to feel empathy for the innocents your junkie buddies terrorize.
The sound design of the weapons was a noticeable step down from its predecessors.
I think my favorite thing about being a Transistor fan is that people still make Red art and all of it’s great.
Honestly? Vic. Bro drops off the face of the earth past a certain point.
Dan LaMorte. That guy kills every room I’ve seen him in yet somehow name recognition is lagging behind.
Nick and Kevin remain on perfectly healthy terms with Colin last I checked.
This has a lot more to do with the makeup of the mod team than it does KF itself.
Winters’ll still be an issue but I have yet to find a place that matches Burlington’s vibe more than Portsmouth, NH.
Input/Output is funny as hell to me
No one else seems to want to give you an actual answer, so I will: fewer plants, fewer lamps, darker wall paint and wooden shelves.
5 is mine, I think that’s about as great a game as Ubi is capable of making.
I think there’s a meaningful discussion to be had about whether or not the lifestyle of the priesthood self-selects for ideal priests.
I say this all the time but Phantom Limb could very easily topline a major comic run.
New ones.
For as flawed as this game can be sometimes, the fact that it was made by Ubisoft is insanely impressive.
R6 Hot takes?
