Summer Fridays shade drops!

I’ll definitely be making it again! I did add some fish sauce at the end to increase the umami.

It doesn’t really show in pictures, but the cut of the waist and pockets feels kind of tight? Like I can’t really put anything in the pockets.

Good question. I do like it and the colors. I’m leaning towards keep based on everyone’s feedback.

Wednesday: NYT lemony shrimp and bean stew, which I’ve been dreaming of since I last made it

Thursday: Justine Snack’s corn quinoa salad with pineapple lime dressing

Friday: sheet pan chicken shawarma

Saturday: out, at a Pride month celebration

I’m taking the GRE test at the end of the month to hopefully start taking steps towards a return to graduate school. I want to reward myself afterwards with a self-care/“you did it!” mini haul. No buy until then!

I think considering Rowling’s attitude towards trans rights, Mooncat would avoid a collab. I loved Harry Potter so much as a kid, it’s been really sad for me and my trans friends to process

I’ve got The Trouble with Immortality on my nails right now, and that formula is divine. I’d love to see more of that too!

For context, my hair is very fine and straight, but thick at the same time. It could totally just be that my hair is the issue more than the product!

The Crown Affair finishing gel. It just did nothing for my hair other than weigh it down and make it look kind of greasy, no matter how little I would use.

I think they have some really excellent products overall, but my personal favorite is the lip oil Shade Slick. I have Marrakech and Les Doux currently, and have used up Taupe in the past. I love how they feel on the lips and the colors are really flattering.

Huge fan of Good Genes! I’m the same age as you and swear by it. Actually just bought my fourth bottle directly from Sunday Riley because their sales are great right now.

Does anyone know if the blush shades are the same as the original release, just reformulated? Or are they new?

Already, Always is still my favorite, but this is a solid album and plenty of tracks I want to listen to over and over. The Weeping in particular has been hitting hard.

Sunday Riley and Farmacy. Both have way better sales and gwp, plus when I buy I’m usually stocking up, so shipping is free. I actually just repurchased my standbys from both because the sales are good right now.

I also have very sensitive skin and have struggled with constant razor burns for years. I’m liking the Billie razor, but equally important is the rest of your routine I’ve found. I apply a body oil daily to help build up my skin barrier and also use aloe immediately after shaving to soothe it. It’s not foolproof, but this has helped me a lot.

Livia Shirt and Tommaso Short. I’m a little apprehensive about the fit since I’m short and petite. I also can’t quite tell if it’s more of a teal blue or cooler tone. I wish Sézane had more accurate product images! So, I’ve got some reservations, but if the fit and color work, I think I’ll be wearing them all summer.

The newly reformulated NARS blush is gorgeous. I picked up Orgasm Edge and have my eye on Behave. I’m very fair, and while it’s pigmented, you can easily control it.
