When you move from one country to another, a million things change. One of them may be the composition of the drinking water, but as /u/YouWillNeverGetThiss already stated, it also changes from one region to another within the same country. There are so many other factors that are much, much more likely to cause the issues:

1. Diet. It's almost impossible to find exactly the same food in two countries on different continents. She is forced to change her diet, which can cause issues like these. Usually, they will go away after a while, when her body adapts to the new diet.

2. Stress due to a change in environment and habits. This is really unavoidable if you move to a completely different country. It can be a positive experience, but it will always still be stressful and constipation is a very common reaction to stress.

3. Drinking less. Especially if you think the water is causing her constipation, she may (subconsciously) start drinking less, which can cause constipation as well.

One thing she can try is psyllium seed husks (Flohsamenschalen in German). You can find them at most drugstores or order them online. What I do is fill a big glass with water and a little juice for taste, then add a few tablespoons of the psyllium and stir. The husks will start swelling and swim in it like little jelly-beads. If the water turns too thick to drink, you have used too many husks or too little water. It's very important to use enough water with it, or it can actually cause constipation.

I think the linked device is a 2-in-1 tabletop RO with an integrated water heater. I don't know this specific model, but I've been looking at similar ones in the past.

Also, there are RO units that have a stage that adds minerals back to the water. Doesn't seem very logical at first, but maybe it's about removing harmful substances first and then bringing the mineral content back up with safe minerals.

Otherwise, you're completely correct. Hard water is not any more common in Switzerland and it also does not cause constipation.

Ich bin auch der Meinung dass Alkohol nicht nur wegen seiner Verbreitung so ziemlich die schlimmste Droge ist, die wir in Deutschland haben. Selbst Heroin verursacht nicht so schlimme Organschäden. Ganz abgesehen von dem aggressiven und gefährlichen Verhalten, das Alkohol sehr regelmäßig auslöst.

Das einzige mal dass ich mit so etwas konfrontiert wurde, war es ein Kollege der in der Gehaltstabelle ÜBER mir steht und sich bei anderen darüber ausgelassen hat, wie ich mit meinem üppigen Eigenkapital noch weiter nach Häusern gucken kann während er für immer zur Miete wohnen muss.

Green tea and black tea come from the same plant and the components are very similar. But green tea is often brewed at a lower temperature, which releases less caffeine, so if you're sensitive, it might help. But you could also just brew black tea at a lower temperature.

For me, tea is a lot better. Coffee in any shape or form is always an immediate regret. Tea is usually fine unless it's a really bad and strong black tea. If I stick to high quality tea and don't make too strong of a brew, I have no issues while it still helps me stay awake.

One thing to note: it's not a good idea to use caffeine every single day because you'll develop a tolerance and then it's pretty much pointless. Better to go without caffeine if you don't need to be 100% sharp, so it will hit a lot harder when you do need it.

I love the taste of tea, so I don't always follow my own advice, but I do try to stay away from it at least for a few days a week.

Ich habe den Eindruck dass in vielen Branchen jedes Problem auf den Fachkräftemangel geschoben wird, gleichzeitig die Unternehmen aber gar nicht daran interessiert sind, mehr Leute einzustellen. Personalkosten sparen und gleichzeitig eine gute Ausrede für schlechte Qualität und schlechten Service haben... das passt vielen Firmen sicher ganz gut.

So wie ich das auf dem Bild deute, macht die Straße eine deutliche Senke, während der Fußweg (?) mit dem Geländer gerade weiterläuft. Wenn man jetzt nur den Wasserspiegel und das Geländer sieht, könnte man annehmen dass das Wasser nur ein paar Zentimeter tief ist.

Ich finde die Herangehensweise falsch.

Fortbildungen besucht man normalerweise um bestimmte Krankheitsbilder optimal behandeln zu können und zwar ergebnisoffen. Wenn dann auf der Fortbildung dargelegt wird, dass Cannabis gut geeignet ist, kannst du es ja in dein Repertoire mit aufnehmen.
Aber von vornherein Fortbildungen rauszusuchen, in denen es extra um Cannabis geht, finde ich sehr unseriös. Damit entscheidest du dich ja schon für einen Bias, den du gerne bestätigt haben möchtest.

Wenn es dir nur darum geht, Cannabis unter die Leute zu bringen, kannst du dich auch in einem Cannabis Social Club engagieren. Auch die Selbstanzucht ist nicht schwierig wenn man nicht auf maximale Erträge aus ist.

They remove a lot of substances from the water that are responsible for (unpleasant) taste and odor, so they make the water taste much better. They can also (partially) remove some toxic substances. So definitely good.

It's true, there are water filters like the aquamira frontier pro that do not filter bacteria. They went through a lot of effort to hide that fact on the packaging and in the product description, which is why I would never buy any product from them.

Other filters have proven to be unreliable, like the Katadyn Vario and should have been taken off the market years ago. Again, not reflecting well on that company.

But the sawyer models have proven to be both very effective and reliable, so I wouldn't worry too much. Still there's always a risk left, for example a fiber could be damaged which is hard to check for with these models.

Personally, if a water source seems sketchy to me, I always use more than one method (usually filter plus chlorine).

Genau richtig. Das wasserdichte (IP68) Handy meiner Freundin ist ins Klo gefallen und war danach kaputt. Der Hersteller meinte, er könnte die Wasserdichtigkeit nur bei einem neuwertigen Gerät garantieren, nach längerer Nutzung müsse man damit rechnen, dass es nicht mehr dicht ist.
