Can confirm, 2008 had identical symptoms and fix.
Happened a lot on the 2019 Summer tour. I was at Bristow and they pulled the band for about 30 minutes. Dave came back and said we’re playing til they kick us off. Ended the night with a Two Step into Halloween. Pretty memorable show for me.
How many pellets did you use? I’ve read you can fill to about 1.5” below the secondary burn holes but that seems like a lot.
Mine is a 2018. It was the Ex 9.8+. Came with 27.5+ plus size tires. I swapped out for 29er wheels and never went back. Before that I had a Fuel 70 (26er). Definitely love the 29er.
Have a 9.8 and love it. Once you have the touch points dialed in (saddle, pedals, grips) it’s an awesome bike.

Saw the band in 2018 with Buddy as a guest. Even though it was my first show after years as a fan, the band generally looked like they enjoyed the show as much as the fans!
What CarPlay did you install? Have a 2008 LTD and finding something compatible seems impossible
Put it on my calendar and call every year. I’m not paying more than I paid last year or I gone. Too many options out there. In reality the most use is in my car, rarely use it at home since I have a lot of his catalog.
Gen 2’s with JBL are pretty much stuck with the OEM head unit. There are some knockoffs out there put just not worth losing stuff like back up camera or steering wheel controls. I just plug into the Aux (3.5mm) port to use the audio. Music and map audio will come through.

Have 2nd Gen (2008) with 236K. Routine maintenance with exception of Radiator replacement, 1 coil pack and oil cooler lines. Also had to send head unit (JBL w/nav) off for a repair.
Only bad thing is there’s not much out to replace audio.
I went with Conti CrossContact LX 25 on my 2018. Pretty happy with them so far.

Mine is 2019 Bristow. That tour was plagued by show interruptions due to storms. This July evening was no exception and just as the boys hit their groove, they were pulled due to severe weather. 20-30 minutes later they were back and, as Dave said: ”we’re gonna play til they kick us off”. True to his word they played and played and capped it off with a Two Step>Halloween. Overall a really good night!
The opening was fantastic, OSW>Warehouse, WWYS & Seek Up. My wife and I were in the swag line and I was getting anxious as I knew they would be opening really soon, I finally bailed to my seat and she joined me as the boys were walking out. One of my favorite experiences!
My vote, admittedly meaningless, turn Millers into the DMB Hall of Fame
So far this tour has been🔥. The fakes this tour have been 🤯. The band has been tight and Dave slyly acknowledges when they mess up (but that’s part of the fun of a live show!) Happy Birthday and enjoy it.
