I bought a monitor to capture the seazures I have at night. Although I'm on quite a high dose of meds I'm still having them but not as intensely or I thought as often. Last night as this happened sometimes they were pretty much throughout the night more intense during the hour before waking. I woke extremely anxious and then took a look at the vids. I'm wondering if there's Amy relation to the seizures and the anxiety? I suffer from anxiety periodically and wonder how much of it is seazure related.
Yes, I just bought a little variety box off Amazon for about £7 and it has them in. Even if they're slightly bigger (mine are, but hardly noticeable) just change them on both ends.
I definitely wasn't meaning to attack you and I'm sorry if it seemed like that. I've had another rough night and I'm just understanding the relationship between the seazures and this fkn horrible anxiety and churning stomach when I wake from a night of them. Diving into the internet and reading eventually helps after a few hours. Lamottagine helps quite a lot to stabilise my mood and I was over the moon at having something that initially helped with both. A two for one solution. Now I'm realising that things are probably going to get pretty tough again while the Dr switches pills for others in hope of improvement but then I have the CPTSD/bipolar issue to also consider. Things were really going good for a while I didn't realise that my tolerance to the meds would be a factor to consider. I'm guessing that I'm not the only one, the first nor last to feel this disappointment while finding the right meds.
I've heard them called "a funny turn" as a child in England some 40+ years ago. Often about me.
Very common in England. Having an eppo or a fit which were both derived from or referenced epilepsy meant throwing a tantrum and a spaka was very derogatory term derived from spastic and a speak attack referencing a seazure was again derogatory and aimed at people getting very angry and animated. PC hadn't been invented yet and the abbreviation was only ever used in reference to the police.
Or people who had them prophetic, closer to another dimension and even revered in some cultures. A surprising amount of creative people have had epilepsy throughout the ages and some were considered more "gifted" because of it.
This link to Wikipedia kinda cheered me up after another night of seazures and viewing them on the monitor earlier.. I'm finding the regularity quite upsetting now.
Yep. Same here. My father refused to allow further tests regarding my epilepsy and put them down to loosing my mother around the same time they started. I had a head injury (5-6 years old) during the explosion we were in. He was allowed to ignore them because even authorities perceived them as a mental health issue. This was also the general opinion 25-30 years ago and it was often ignored. A parent could be prosecutid for neglect if they refused to address such a serious condition today. Times really do change.
Because not all seazures are epilepsy. It's just a more specific term. With all of the now recognised seazures (due to modern technology) we can be even more specific. I prefer to know the finer details of what's happening with me and the different terms help with this. I know it's not everyone's preference and some prefer to not know.
Aster stripping any salvageable parts.. the motor would definitely be a keeper.
They made a slightly improved second wave of m365s around the same time that the Pro came out. One of the improvements was the new dashboard. I still have this model which I bought directly from china before you could buy them pretty much anywhere else.
Kinda related is that Gearbest (which was probably the largest most reliable, cheapest and successful e-commerce website at the time) had a huge factor in the east Germany/Poland are which was kept constantly stocked. This was before we left the EU (England) meaning no import tax 😁. My Xiaomi was delivered within a week and it was about 1/2 - 2/3 the price as they now are. My Xiaomi is still going strong although the battery is lagging on distance which is expected. I'm currently upgrading the fk out of it and have Both lots of fun and a few steep learning curves.
Top tip (without being patronising) .. research, research.. compare and research before any upgrade. I've just made a schoolboy error thinking I was saving a lot of money (I have) by buying a new 10000mah battery listed for the Xiaomi but the wires for the dash aren't there.. it's going to cost me time and a little more money to fix.
Break ON full.. throttle ON full and finger pressing the ON/OFF button down (all together at the same time) for 3+ seconds (when turned off). = Factory reset.
It'll be obvious it's finished resetting because it makes a short beeping sound.
Well.. the worst thing about them is this terrible nausea and anxiety I feel the moment I wake up. I've been having them since childhood but only properly diagnosed and put on meds about 18 months ago. Since then I've become more educated about seazures and now know that I've been having them much more regularly than I previously realised (we've come a long way in understanding them since my childhood). I (like many people who still do) thought that epilepsy was only if you had what used to be called grand mells (now called tonic clonics). Of course there's a much broader spectrum that defines epilepsy other than T/Cs. Having them in my sleep isn't the worst thing about them. I pretty much don't even know about them apart from a sore or bleeding tongue the next day. T/Cs are quite a ride when they happen during waking hours but I only have them during the daytime maybe twice a year. Of course I'd rather not have them. The horror stories I've heard about some other meds teriffieo me. The emotional rollercoaster that can happen just feels too much. I've been struggling with My mental health for some time due to CPTSD. I've only been feeling that I'm coming out of the woods over the past year with the help of EMDR so I just don't think I'd deal with anything like the keppra side effects. Apologies for the long answer but it's a little more complex than just switching to a different med for me.
Yes, they've asked me to keep them. I've so many now (from just the last two months) that I don't have much space left on my memory card they've been so regular. I've spoken with a couple of people about meds and the alternatives sound awful. To be honest I'm pretty scared of having to switch to another.
Thanks for this. It's exactly how I feel right now. I woke up on this roundabout and having recently bought a seazure monitor have just watched the hour before waking up and I was pretty much constantly having seazures. I haven't even checked the rest of the night's footage yet but I expect more of the same.
Buy a £20 baby monitor from Amazon. They are triggered by both movement and sound. Absolutely the best £20 I've spent in a long time. I've gone from several tongue bites a night to a few a month thanks to the monitor and a med adjustment.
Pretty sure that's a leopard.
Lol. I think you mean it's trunk. "5th leg.. lol.
It fluctuates in intensity but I've found as I've got older that it'll pass, if only briefly. Whenever it's at its worst I give it 6 months before I do anything and it seems to work for me. I'm still here. I really do believe that I've visited the worst of my depression and that it could never again get any worse than it did.
Hanley shopping centre after it got closed down due to shoplifters on monkey dust. They did a weekend charity fight.
That's not a man nor was et RVER a boy so Wrong on both points.. it's blatantly red white and black zebra. Don't be deceived by its size it's still ferocious.
From a boy to a man- our beloved big boy, Chota Matka.
