Got my wife to try it about 12.5 years ago. Last month we both got black belt. Kinda cool.
No one really gets online to post that they weren’t injured in a given session or comp. Keep going. You may likely catch some bumps and bruises but tap early and often and you will likely be ok.
Trained there tonight. Travel often and have experienced many gyms. Legion is probably the best. The coaches we know are great and look out for students.

Streamline your intake of information, become more aware of your limitations and what works for you. Problem solve and spend weeks or months in one position/tech/move. As I increased my knowledge I used that to funnel all rolls/moves back towards my strengths. At my gym I’m “the lapel guy” but I’ve got more basic scissor sweeps in the last year than vs the previous 12 combined.
