I like Thursdays so if side effects take me out, it’ll be the weekend. I also like having the most appetite suppression happening on the days where I’m historically more likely to indulge.
I haven’t told many people I’m on sema because I don’t want peopme watching my body constantly because they’re expecting dramatic weight loss.
I don’t want unwanted comments on my body, and I don’t comment on anyone’s body because you never know what caused the weight loss (intentional or they may be sick).
Unless someone is making it known they’re on a weight loss journey, my best advice is to keep quiet because who knows if it’s intentional or if they’ll get into their feelings no one notices they’ve lost 25lbs.
Rooting for you baby girl
Rooting for you baby!
Boosting for this baby boy! I hope he finds the perfect family!
I got an associates of art at TCC and transferred to Texas Wesleyan super easily where I took classes for 2.5yr and have a bachelor of science.
For context, I graduated over a decade ago, lived at home for those 2.5yr saving literally thousands each semester, and have been paying on my student loans ever since I graduated and my balance of $45000 HAS NOT GONE DOWN. I even had grants and scholarships to ease the cost of my schooling and I can’t imagine how much it would cost today to attend. It is a private school, but you could easily take on that much if not more debt (if your parents aren’t paying or you don’t have a full ride somewhere) attending a local public 4yr school and living in the dorms/room plan/books/living expenses. Out of state schooling could easily be double that.
The actual kicker is I don’t even use my degree in my field of work and never have.
I’d take a hard look at how much you’re willing to spend to get “the college experience”.
I joined some clubs and a sorority and made life long friends (I’m actually having breakfast with a handful of them this morning for our monthly hangout) and I don’t feel like I missed out on much not having a typical college experience.
I also haven’t had any bad experiences and I also drink wine, vodka and beer. I’m on .50
I’ve had 0 issues with drinking.
If anything, probably due to the delayed digestion, I don’t really feel the effects of it (still being safe with ubering home)
It’s taken 8 weeks for me to be okay with coffee again.
I mostly just drink 1 cup now because it helps keep me regular.
Knock on wood but I’m 3.5mo in and haven’t purged so far. I’m an every other night user
Alcohol has been fine for me so far. No terrible hangovers experienced, although I’ve been full before I’m drunk so far.
My plan of attack is “I’ve been eating and moving my body in ways that help me feel my best” which is true.
I deleted Tik Tok in December and unfollowed a ton of people who didn’t make me feel good.
Most days I like the face I see in the mirror and other days, at worst I am neutral on it.
Highly recommend!
I have to take every call on speaker or through my headphones 😅 trying to hold out of the new model later this year.
No issues, but I seem to not be able to get drunk so I have to watch how much I drink.
Zofran.
Patience.
THE WILL TO STAY OFF THE SCALE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
Maybe even stay off here for a little while- people’s experiences are so varied than inevitably you’ll be comparing your journey to others and every single person is unique.
Milk products make me SO queasy (goodbye non fat vanilla lattes) but cheese is fine. It’s all trial and error honestly.
I’m a wash cloth forever girl!
Luckily it’s never caused any issues (I’ve used it all throughout my tret journey) and I feel like it’s kept my skin from showing obvious signs of peeling.
It truly depends day to day. Something I can regularly finish on days 1-3 and be comfortable, will suddenly make me full on day 4 after eating half and I’m uncomfortably full.
I’m simply learning no two weeks and sometimes no two days are the same.
