It literally is an inside joke though since the City tie where Lucas Vazquez did it after converting his pen. He's been doing it in training and in games consistently since then, for example after scoring the winner against Barca in the 3-2

If UEFA had banned Bellingham one game earlier, England would be watching the quarter finals from the couch.

Foden has been playing centrally for stretches of games (vs Slovakia he played in his favorite CAM role in the right half spaces towards the end of the game) and he looked just as shit as he did as LW.

Like I said, if Arsenal wanted to sign him beforehand then it's all good. But scouting him based off of a 4 game tournament (like 95% of the fans who now desperately want him did) would be a terrible choice.

Also, what’s wrong with people wanting to sign a player after a tournament? If your club sign a guy that you don’t know, you can research their statistics, ask fans who have seen him play and watch games to see how they are.

There's nothing wrong with a club buying a player after a tournament if they intended to buy him before it and were following and scouting him beforehand. But buying a player based off of a 4 game tournament in an international football environment (that is very distinct to judge from club football) inevitably leads to overpaying at best and getting a flop at worst.

Balde is profiting from the shiny new toy syndrome while Davies is suffering from it.

Davies in 2020 was clear of any version of Balde, especially the one from this season who was very mediocre.

95% of fans who want to sign Calafiori for their team never had him on their radar prior to the Euros.

people who didn't watch Bellingham play in La Liga (especially pre shoulder injury) probably think he's some glorified goalscorer when his goalscoring record was like 20% of his contributions on the pitch

Makes sense to let him ref games now that he's been eliminated from the tournament

He's a poor man's version of Alphonso Davies

as a former FPL owner of his, I'll never respect Estufraudnian again

or just make that tactical coach the assistant? Because it would basically completely undermine Southgate's authority within the squad if he was demoted to an assistant role.

Also that's literally what was going on with Klinsmann/Löw and even later on with Löw/Flick.

my point is, that I won't support a geriatric Ronaldo till the end of his career over our current young players just because he doesn't know when it's time to step aside

He has played as LW, right sided 10 and RW in these past games and hasn't delivered. It's definitely up to him to show up. Also Southgate didn't tell him to be offside for no reason

I became a fan of Barcelona because I love watching beautiful football. I'd rather never win Champions League for the next 10 years then watch Barca park the bus after scoring 1 goal the way Madrid does or watching them park the bus from minute 0 the way they did against City at the Etihad.

What about when Xavi parked the bus from minute 0 on at home vs PSG (let alone after the red card)

Let's be real and very very honest for a minute. Cristiano is ultra washed. He doesn't even resemble his prime version one bit. It was fine supporting his team until a couple of year's ago, but how long does it continue? Will you still be doing it if he keeps playing until he's 50? At some point, it's time to step aside and let the new generation take over.

Plastic because I care more about our current players than I do about Cristiano, who himself is probably the most egocentric player in the world? Sure...

Why are people still writing paragraphs on here defending Cristiano's honour lol

It's been 6 years, move on.

Also can't believe some people cheer for Portugal over France. 4 current Madrid players vs 0, I know who I want to win.

he was shit apart from his goal. Might as well put Bellingham there then.

Now imagine Turkey vs Germany in Berlin
