Seriously, you want mexico to build the wall and pay for, disown Texas and have them start making their own way.

Is she mud-sneeze? This is a great pic.

It's one of the reasons sometimes overly loud noise can be as good, or sometimes better, as quiet. An engine droning on a boat, music in my headphones, a windy storm. I know there will be no expectation of being able to hear, soy brain can just dismiss all sound input. Sometimes it's better than quiet because if things are quiet I will have to listen. If things are noisy, I don't.

It's also why I could never abide bars and clubs, and sometimes concerts. Seems the neuronormies go to these places and expect to carry on a conversation. I don't understand it, but as I age, I find more and more I'm also not normal so.... Whatevs.

Yes. :)

They were kept as spares for a dune buggy my dad built with his dad. My grandfather built buggies in the 60s and 70s and we still have 3 or 4 in the family. Big motors, torsion blades, front axles, transmissions. Stuff that used to be easy to get in the junkyards.

Lol. There might be. But if I got rid of anything else my family would disown me. My dad and grandfather fabricated dune buggies using DOM tubing and Volkswagen parts in the 60s and 70s. We still have 4 in the family and we use each others garages as parts supply warehouses.

My first pit LIVED to run. Life was motion, and if I couldn't keep up, well, she felt she would leave me behind. Then I taught her to mush and pull me on a scooter and she was the happiest animal. Winter rain or summer sun, she was all about it.

My current pit, you couldn't pay her in the stinkiest sows ear treats to run around the block. On hot days she will just lie down about half way around the block and starts breathing like snuffleupagus about 50 feet in. On normal and cool days she will walk at up to a brisk pace up to a mile. And on windy days she thinks an evil witch is out to get her and will actually run because she is spooked.

Every dog is different. No breed is a monolith. Yours, like mine, may be built more for comfort than for speed.

After my father passed and we bought the house from my mother, it wasn't the unsorted containers of old fasteners, or the various volkswagen parts mixed in with his tools in his toolchests. It was the unlabeled mystery solvents mason jar after mason jar, cans of ancient paint, and even an old amber prescription bottle 2/3 full of mercury. All that shit was hazmat and had to be taken to special waste events on special days. You'd think you'd gotten it all, and then dig into the next shelf and find more. Went on for months.

More than that - that's assault. This asshat needs to spend some time in jail. Guy like this has probably had other run-ins with the cops, so he may also have a rap sheet.

I think people are tired of the meme. I still find it funny.

Actual version: they're all pictures of Sidon?!?

I look at the show as a telling of the same story but by another person who got their information from many, but not all, the same sources. No two tellings from two people are going to be alike or agree on all the facts. So this one jumbles some up and gets some wrong.

I was trying to buy from guys who were retiring or retired mechanics and I could tell their familiarity with their box by how quick they located a tool I asked about. But since learning that, I don't want to participate in someone else fucking over some dude working a shop somewhere. I love the old tools and boxes (Ive got some of my great grandfather's stuff from > 100 years ago) but my dad, his dad, and his dad, all having been mechanics makes my blood run cold at the idea I'm buying from a fencing operation.

Looks like cancer rates in that area were about on-par with the rest of Huntington Beach, or at least certainly not an outlying datapoint, at the time of this study.

Its still entirely possible that there is a cluster of a specific type of cancer lurking within the data that is, itself an outlier.

We'll see. He may drop, he may not. To paraphrase someone else, I'll still take weekend-at-bernies Zombie Biden over anything the opposition has on offer.

I'm just gonna let this play in my headphones and on my 2nd monitor to get me through the next 12hrs of work.

For sure. I love their older stuff, and used to buy used on Craigslist until someone told me I was probably actually buying stolen.

Ouch ouch ouch. I had 4 full sets of Unlimited dual lands that I sold for around $20ea.

That's nuts. I love the quality on their old stuff, but I don't know I'd be willing to pay the premium today. I used to keep an eye on Craigslist for tools until someone told me there was a lot of fencing going on and I was probably buying some mechanic's stolen tools.

They're expensive, but I have my dad's from the 60s and the drawers glide better today than my craftsman did brand new 15 years ago.

You could be me and have sold your collection consisting of alpha, beta, revised, 4th Ed, legends, and the dark, 25 years ago because that box was just taking up too much space.

Honestly, just buying sufficient straight and true 2x4s to produce this at home despot and making your own is nearly as expensive. To say nothing of making it nice with a planer and router and sander.
