I do think there is a theme of missing mothers and poisoned wives. It feels like there is a link, in the case of Valls and Elena, because his first idea was to poison Isabella, right? He’s no stranger to poison, obviously.

If he was able to move on so quickly, I don’t think the feeling was reciprocated as you think. The best thing to do is move on your self. Focus on your daughters, their education and future and on your next act once they leave the nest. Think about what you need and want out of life. I’m sorry but looking backwards is a folly and a waste of time. Tomorrow is a new day and a new moon-head into the future free of the past.
