I really believe the key to keeping weight off is losing is slowly, doing the work and make changes that are sustainable over a long period of time rather than extreme measures that will lead to quick weight loss and most likely see us putting that weight back on in the long term.

But the pet owner also does said a limit for what they want to spend. I've had plenty of times where I set my rates, but then when I try to request a walk it tells me that I'm outside of the pet parents rates. It doesn't entirely make sense to me. If that's the case, why don't they just put whatever rate the pet parent is willing to pay?

It wasn't your fault, you were attentive and sometimes dogs really do move super quick and ingest things we don't notice. That's not necessarily what happened, but it is possible.

As for insurance, I don't have my own, but I'm curious about that too. What is PCI?

I don't know what the right answer is here, although like some others have said, either find a vet that won't force you to pay the emergency fee, or pay the $350 and take one last time to see if this is something she can push through.

One thing I will say, if you do euthanize your dog, as painful as it is for you, and this goes for anyone, please be there with them in their final moments. For us a pet is part of our lives, but for them, we are their entire life. Just imagine how scary it is for them to be in a room with strangers, unsure of what's going on. At the end, we all want to be surrounded by our loved ones.

And I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. It's never easy.

I walk one dog off app who sometimes flops down and wants to just sunbathe for a while. Sometimes I go to try to act like I'm lifting her, and that gets her up. Or, I'll run her belly and pet her vigorously to get her excited, then I'll stop and get up and that sometimes will get her to stand up and move.

I don't know about alcohol quality, but I've certainly notice an issue with quantity - if I drink a lot, I get really bad flare-ups.

I agree! I just used Rit dye yesterday for a hat that was seriously sun bleached and discolored from sweat stains, it did the trick.

Like others have said, get new friends, or at least don't seek advice in the future from these friends in particular.

I have one client who I started off on app with but she had immediately spoke to me about whether or not I was comfortable going off at so after only a week of doing it on app, we switched to dealing with each other directly when I've been doing that for months. I haven't really thought much about going off app with any other clients, as I didn't want to be the one to suggest it. But just the other day this particular client asked me if I'm off app with any other clients and how many walks I do a week, and I've been reading people post on this sub about taking clients off so I started to consider it lately. It definitely feels like I'm missing out on quite a bit of money because so much of it is going to wag.
