DLSS will scale better. 1440p on a 4K screen will be simply blurry.

Create smurf accounts for every single online game you play to check if it wasn't hardware banned, because if it was and you'd log into your main account, you could say goodbye to it.

It doesn't. Console players are just used to absurdly low standards, in both performance as well as graphical fidelity.

No, it would be terrible value-wise.

Upgrading to a GPU from the same generation is never a good value. That's why you should always buy the best GPU you can afford.

The what? I literally bought it on Steam for like 3€ recently as I wanted to play it before Hellblade 2 launches.

Cool, means that game simply was not for you.

I don't care about the story, it's dumb and cliche.

I felt exactly the same after RDR2. Apart from that gameplay was pathetic too. Just point and click on head adventure with like what? 6 "different" weapons and zero actual shooting mechanics and whole game was just a silly sandbox.

Yet there are people who liked this game, so good for them. I've learned my lessons and I'm simply not going to buy any Rockstar game again, instead of crying on reddit that I didn't like a particular game like what you do here.

4080

27" 1440p OLED then. There are already couple of games where max settings at 4K would be really problematic on a 4080 and we're going to get new GPU generation later this year, which obviously means games coming out after that will have even higher requirements than now.

Higher in game settings and especially on an OLED instead of LCD will be much greater visual improvement than those few extra pixels of higher resolution.

Basically any first person perspective single player game.

I'd highly recommend Cyberpunk 2077 if your PC is able to run it at good visual settings.

However what's important is a proper mousepad - something like 50cm x 40cm or similar (of space for mouse alone). Then set your sensitivity so when you move your mouse from one side of the mousepad to another, your character rotates in game for 360°. Something like 40+cm/360°. That will force you to use your whole arm to aim, not just the wrist and that will not only allow you to aim better and more reliably but also will prevent you from getting wrist issues so many people suffer from simply because they use too high sensitivity and move their mouse with just their wrist.

Why exactly did you decide to ask about how to get a picture from your PS4 to your macbook or a phone, here on the PCMR sub? I'm confused.

I was using 750W PSU in a 3900x + 4090 build for half a year with no issues whatsoever.

You're way more than fine.

PC. It's literally better in everything. It's only a matter of setting it up to your own needs.

Another thing is that she will learn how to use a PC and that will help her in future for both school and job. It's ridiculous how some young people that never had a PC are technologically illiterate.

If you mean a monitor on the desk, not a big screen TV, then I'd advise against 4K unless you're planning to upgrade to 5090 once it comes out. Higher in game details, especially RT, makes much greater visual difference than those few extra pixels of higher resolution.

If you mean immersive single player games, then yeah, that's just wrong.

If you mean online gaming, then watching youtube between matches when waiting in queue is normal.

I simply buy the best gaming CPU no matter the brand.

If Nvidia suddenly made the best gaming CPU, I'd get it.

I haven't played Souls games, but played few Souls-likes (Jedi Order/Survivor, Kena etc). I've got an XBOX Series X controller and I tried to play them with it since I heard people like you claiming it'd be better. After testing it out I chose to play those games on a mouse+keyboard.

In fact, I simply can't understand how people can claim that controller would be better for those games as it's simply slower, less precise and on top of that you have zero camera movement freedom as you need to lock on enemies. I take it as a bullshit people repeat not even understanding why.

That will force you to use your whole arm to aim, not just the wrist.

That will obviously require adjusting for few weeks but then apart from being much more healthy, it would also greatly improve your aiming skills.

Honestly I facepalm at work when normies ask for "vertical mouses" because they have wrist issues despite using mouse daily dozens times less then me. It takes one brief look on their setups to know why it's happening.

Here's my setup  for a comparison to see what I mean.

I'd get a real mousepad and throw away whatever that plastic thing next to your mouse is. You're asking for wrist issues.

First set up your DPI in Synapse. I'm using 3200dpi.

Then you need to lower windows sensitivity as it would be absurdly fast on default setting here:

(also make sure "Enhance pointer precision" is turned off - that's a mouse acceleration, you never want it)

Finally, in each game you need to adjust the in game sensitivity too. The good rule is to set it so when you move your mouse from one side of your mousepad to another, your character in game rotates 360°, but like I said, you'd need much bigger mousepad than what you have now.
Here's my setup  - to show what a proper mousepad looks like. You most likely would need to move your PC to fit it there.

How exactly do you play esport games without PC? Those are basically PC exclusives. Even if they have their console version, the real competitive version is the PC, with the console version being just casual fiesta.
