I'm doing similar but only 2 angles. Using premier to edit, honestly the syncing of time is the pita. It will only get more cumbersome with the added angles, that's not to say it's not doable.
Definitely keep line off, makes you faster. Also helps you learn the track, to know where is good position to be at to do what you wanna do. Your making a right so racing line is gonna be on left.
Hate to tell you, but yes. You started slowing down way early in a brake zone and line. If your intentions was for him to go around you, then you should have moved out the racing line. At times its easy to blame others than to see what action you took that cause the issue in first place.
