What are the "plenty of things the BCC can do" in regards to the CU issues? If you have ideas or a plan, please share!!!

Dishwasher roaches aren't hard to get rid of. I believe they are called German cockroaches. It takes an exterminator coming a few times but then they are gone.

The people that actually live south of bay beg to differ. Unlike Tony Anderson, she understands fiscal responsibility. She also supports responsible development, not rubber stamping everything that comes before the BCC.
I think you have her confused with #NoShowAnderson.
She supports opening South Walton beaches to public access, restricting signs on the beach and banning ghost chairs. In regards to the CU settlement, there is nothing the county can do. ANDERSON agreed to the settlement that was settled with prejudice, meaning the county can't bring up CU again.

Exactly! My condo HOA has 49 units divided between two buildings. The exterior of the buildings were waterproofed and painted a few years ago, before COVID, and it cost $850K. The roofs were replaced a few few years ago and it cost $700K.
I'd be more concerned about the listing address being inaccurate.

Your best bet for checking flood zones and risks is the FEMA website https://msc.fema.gov/portal/home
I would continue with the purchase but I would also get flood insurance. If you are in a low risk flood zone that does not require flood insurance, you can still get it and it is on the cheaper side.
FEMAs flood zone maps can change over time and if the flood zone area you are purchasing ever changes, it's easier and cheaper if you already have flood insurance.
If the HOA can't provide you with any documentation that says the deck is unsafe, tell them to screw off and use it.
If they continue to harass you, have an attorney send a strongly worded letter to them. That usually gets them to shut up

Complete BS! When I rent a house, I'll end up using every damn bed in the house trying to find one that is comfortable and doesn't kill my back or my hips. I also use two towels when I shower.
