The railings on the stairs at the Art Institute of Chicago are also copper for that reason - I remember learning that on a field trip way back in the day lol

The answer is: which is "better" depends on your use-case and the specifics of your hardware setup

Not Ferris Bueller, but in Risky Business, there’s a shot of my grandpa’s old shop in downtown Highland Park near the bank building!

Otherwise we wouldn't be on this thread, but I get the sentiment

Lol, my grandpa used to say "I'll meet ya at tirdy-tird and da tracks" meaning the railroad crossing across 33rd near Comiskey. Small world

I live here too, and it’s become mostly a relic of AM sports radio and some small enclaves on the south side as far as I can tell

You're most likely right, documenting shit takes a whole lotta time

Now for the real Chicago question... which did you prefer? Lou's is my favorite but I'll give you a running start if you choose Gio's....

I wasn't supposed to put it in my dashole?

I'm from the area, and Highland Park PD thankfully has a lot of experience with large crowds. Ravinia Festival is smack dab in the center of HP and they entertain large crowds all the time - like every other day during the summer.

My hat is off to Highland Park PD here, they acted honorably.

NGL this is the first reddit thread in a while that's been good
