Alot of the time I give stuff away for free. I put a camp by the vault occasionally because starting fresh or new is a painful grind.

I try to focus on a single sound and thin of what it is where it's going and insert myself in a story.

As entertaining I'm sure that would be. A reality show for me would be old folks making it through a meal without sexually harassing my staff. That would be both impressive and an actual improvement.

I don't know if challenging a culture that also inherantly overlaps into car culture, emphasized by Michigan's car culture would do much good. Also being a young person having driven both I hate manuals, its a privilage for other life changing amenities like power steering, or power windows. If anything a manual now a days is a high end or collectors car anyway.

People genuinely act like manuals are some magic anti theft device, like I don't have Google in my pocket to help me figure it out.

This. If the current charge is genuinely not representing the community interests, petition the respective zip codes, present to the proper legal office if the petition meets reasonable grounds for an election. The petitioners also need to be prepared to assume responsibility for ongoing in progress projects and events. Otherwise you'd have an election, just to re-elect exactly the same people.

All elections matter.

Some decisions by law do require public opinion and census. If quorum passes and so does the vote then the majority already pulled that (this direction) was the right decision.

Imagine it right the president getting up on the podium wearing a modern plauge doctor mask telling the masses, hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin opiods and blood letting is safe and easy to use treatment schedule that anyone can do at home.

Surely this would never happen twice in recoded history.

This link May be the best information and further reffrence you can get.

We cannot do that again unfortunately, we're already pretty broken, but I feel the plauge could make a come back and a very specific demographic would burn the nation to the ground before the virus because we told them Bloodletting is not a treatment option.

I knew I was right for not clocking in but working for tips cause that's all we can afford to pay ourselves choosing a life in the service industry, how better to serve the upper classes!

I have a beat ass truck with a cassette player I leave my truck unlocked but nothing important or worth stealing so they don't feel compelled to break my windows. If they yoink my cassette player then oh well, and if I leave genuinely anything important in there that's on me.

Good luck stealing the SOB, it has parasitic voltage issues and the breaks have to be pushed in to unlock the steering wheel when in park and it freaks people out to feel it locked, amongst other bullshit problems. If anything they will do me a favor and torch the thing.

It's like an inverted pay wall. Pay next to nothing for your vehicle and you can possibly avoid theft lol.

Some people have never had other humans as a natrual predator and it reflects.

It's not that bad used to live there. The lack of humidity makes it tollerable.

It's weird right cause like we know there needs to be places for vacationers and snow birds ro stay, because that a good chunk of our seasonal economy but that takes up space and hasn't driven down the cost of housing.

Simmilarly we need single family housing that cannot be used for vacationers or snow birds and only for year round residents. Perhaps petition surrounding cities to have more residential developments approved for residents while the higher tourist populations just stay close to the bigger cities, and continue to naturally expand? I wouldn't want to commute an extra 45m in the snow but KI sawyer could use a little gentrification lol.

They could also cap Air B&Bs like they do Liquor Licenses. There's several construction projects in the Marquette area and we all know exactly what those will become if not used for residents as their primary home.

While ill agree the program was well intentioned, the reality of execution was silly and results were mid.

I would much rather there be tech enhancement programs for lower income schools and tablet lease/rental programs of digital libraries rather than whatever this was.

For what we do jnow as fact these kids only really know covid education in foundational years and what social interaction was during covid, we should be mindful and aware of this with their education Cause it does effect policy and spending.
