Two hotels I’ve been at recently did not have DND signs to hang

Don’t. For your safety and sanity. Yes, there are people that quit and stay clean for years and forever. Many don’t or just can’t. You need to make sure you are taking care of yourself first because it’s very hard living with an addict. If they relapse, it affects you too. Dealing with it can crush your will to live.
