Advice wanted: Looking at purchasing a '12 Titan

I found a 2012 Titan with 74 000 kms on it. I am going to look at it tomorrow. I am seeking advice on what things to look for when I check it out. As far as I am aware two major issues are cracking exhaust manifolds and broken blend door actuators? Will I be able to see the exhaust manifolds from underneath the truck? Are there certain things I should do while I check it out that you guys/girls with more knowledge about the Titan can advise me about? Thanks in advance.

ADVICE WANTED USED TITAN

Going to look at a 2012 Titan Pro 4X tomorrow with 74000kms. I've spent the better half of the last two days looking at forums etc of things concerning the Titan's reliability / overall opinion's of current/past owners. I am wondering if there are certain things I should look for when I go see it, and things I should try out to see if it's working properly. Any advice is helpful. Thank you.

Yes i have a torn groin but require walking upto 30km a day while carrying heavy items at work.

Fav sci fi is dead space. If i had a shuttle id just embrace wandering to every reach of the galaxy.

Im assuming they are 60hz. 4070 with dlss will run 4k. 4070 super is significantly faster for not much more.

What resolution, games, and performance / settings do you want?

Reddit won't let me post a link but if you look up

UGREEN 8K Certified HDMI 2.1 Cable 4K 240Hz, 48Gbps HDMI Cable 2.1 Ultra High Speed Support 8K 60Hz, 8K UHD, HDCP, Dynamic HDR, eARC, Dolby Atmos for PS5/4 Pro, Xbox One, Roku, TV Box, HDTV, 15 Feet

That is the cable I used. It's a very thick cable and I run 4K 120hz just fine. I found mine on amazon. The brand is UGREEN. If you can't find it just message me and I will send you the link.

I have a 4070ti which I use on a 4K 55 inch 120hz TV. In order to hit high frames, I use DLSS quality, but keep in mind I am still cranking the settings. TBH at 4K you cannot tell the visual difference between DLSS quality and native.

Right on. I picked up the bundle with 4 rolls of filament and some spare parts (consumables). Looking forward to it's arrival and getting it set up.

Yeah the other issue I have with the game is the lack of a stash at your base. So everytime you take on a new horde you basically go back to the same locations to restock on ammo. The game just has so many issues with pacing that retract from the fun.

For me, every issue I have with Days Gone is it's lack of pacing. I think the solution to the pacing issue is storytelling. That said, with the bike mechanic, what feels like a chore that just gets in the way (pacing) could have become something interesting if say, part of the story was retrieving your tools to work on the bike (or something like that). Basically, the bike is awesome, but they turn it into a chore that doesn't really add anything in terms of fun, challenge, story telling, sense of accomplishment, etc. Maybe all this is because I consider Days Gone an action game, rather than a roleplaying horror. If they wanted it to be roleplaying horror, I would have made the gas randomly generated so you actually feel a sense of having to survive on scarce resources. As is, I just had to constantly take pit stops at the same areas over and over again and overall I think it just doesn't present as either an action game element or a horror game. Overall, I think its a cool idea but with a very boring implementation.

Those recommendations do sound vital. Do you have links to the ones you used?

The physical dimensions it requires. I want to put it in the corner and with the additional width of the A1, it would take up too much space for my liking.

To each their own. Thanks for your input.

How are you liking the machine so far? Any accessories or extra parts you would order alongside it? Any other general advice?
